Thanks for doing these Jamey! I've been enjoying playing my new copy live like this, and the components are really great. The game has definitely come a long way from the first lockdown print and play revision; it's clear a lot of hard work has gone into refining it. I seemed to do pretty well, more fluke than skill I suspect! But very enjoyable nonetheless! I had a few rules questions though, I'll post them on the Facebook group. :)
12.3 for me this morning. I got all 6 stars for Scythe by the 7th or 8th roll. I also got 4 stars in Tapestry. But I really struggled with Charterstone (only 2 stars there). In my crates, I had a 1, 4, 2, and 3…and then a later 1…but I had already crossed off the 1 in a previous turn to gain a star. I really didn’t plan that one well at all. I used most resources right away or within a turn or two…so maybe that was part of my problem. Oh well. If I create an invisible die, that invisible die can be used to cross of crates in Charterstone, right?
Thanks for getting and playing Rolling Realms! I have a bunch of videos here if you ever feel like playing against me, and this week I'll do another liveplay if you want to join live. :)
Played along for my first play of rolling realms! I made a few errors in the rules early on with tapestry (not knowing I couldn't overlap shapes on the brown spaces). But I had a lot of fun and scored 13.2! That last round with the double 4's was weird for me too but I did my best! This is a really great passive game while in meetings at work! ha!
Thanks for joining us for the first time! This is a good reminder for me to explain rules and common mistakes in some of my upcoming liveplays. Game 49 is this week! :)
11:48 I swear you cant create a dice for charterstone and pick a dice. The rulebook says so. It says the charterstone card must have the dice rolled. Pretty sure.
I think you also posted here, correct? You only need to post in one place to avoid redundancy. Thanks! boardgamegeek.com/thread/3248661/dont-understand-how-charterstoen-works
These play along videos bring back fond memories of playing along when you were first creating this game. Thanks for doing this (now and then)!

That’s right!
I got 15.5 on this one. This is the second video I’ve played along with, and it’s a fun way to learn how to play the game!
Thanks so much for playing along!
Bought this game just today. I got 14.2 in this game!

@@jameystegmaier ah yes! I’m definitely joining! Hopefully can make it for the live play :)
14.3! Those 6,1's were killing me!
12.5. I didn’t know about the “if cannot use a die” thing. I wish that was on the score card somewhere.
It's a rarely-used backup (at least, it's designed to be very rarely used).
@@jameystegmaier oh no I totally forgot about this rule. I could have used it twice today. Le sigh.
Oof, 10.6. Thanks for the recording!
Yay, 15.2, best score so far
Very well done!

You can create a die for Charterstone, but the number for the crate must be one of the rolled dice.
12.2, rough one. I wonder if you knew when you started recording these that future fans of the game would come back and play against past Jamey :)
14.6! I thought this was a fun combination because you really had to value your resources!
Well done!
Ups update me , should receive it on monday . Can’t wait to play it
Only 10.5 here! I wasn't able to use those 1s or 4s well!
14.3 for me this round. Didn't do so well on the Euphoria, Between Two Cities, and Wingspan round, so might keep that score to myself. 😜
I think Tapestry is my favorite realm... really hard to do well but... puzzle!
It's probably my favorite too. :)
@@jameystegmaier I'm also really curious how meta the rolling realms realm will be! One day I know you'll show it to us... I'll be patient! 😀
I made 11.2 (I hope I get more points at the 3th round) 😅
I dont understand how Charterstone works! Help anyone.

@@jameystegmaier thanks
12.5 to your 13.3
Always struggle with Charterstone.
14.3, if I had one more pumpkin at the end I could have finished Tapestry for the first time.
So close!
It's getting better, but just got 11.4
13.6. Charterstone was difficult this round
10.2 scored here 😩
Score: sadly, 12 points. Not my best. Tapestry is so difficult!
12.4 :)
13.6
6 in scythe and tapestry 1 in charterstone
8.2. Needs improvement!
You 13.3. Not great game so 11.7. Thanks!
