Every time I watch your videos,it makes me realise that we live in a world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.Keep going and take us to new adventures.Greetings from Paris
That is very true. It is for us to find the beauty and adventure in life. And when we go looking for it , we found that there is so much of it everywhere we look. Thank you so much for appreciating our work 🙏🙂❤️
I admire the lovely lady with her simplicity and activeness, the whole areas has changed from the past 3 decades ago, when I trekked the Rolwaling Valley as a trek leader to Khumbu via Tashi-Labtsa-La Pass.
As a thank you for your sharing your modern Himalayan adventures --- let me take you and your viewers back --- a HALF CENTURY! Your recent literally BREATHLESS conquest of EBC --- brings back a flood of such fond memories. 50 years ago --- my American girlfriend and I (both 26 at the time) walked from Katmandu to Everest Base Camp --- and BACK to Kathmandu (no Lukla easy-rider). This was in the Spring of 1973 --- before the Summer monsoon --- and the rhododendrons were blossoming like crazy! We trekked without a guide or porter --- or even a daypack --- we hiked with simply an Indian shoulder-bag, a blanket, and in Chinese tennis shoes. After 28 days, we reached Namche Bazaar --- which was the first commercial restaurant and lodge we encountered since Katmandu. Other nights we knocked on the door of the nearest Nepali home about sunset --- and using sign language, asked if we could sleep on their porch. We were never refused shelter. We climbed roughly two and a half mountains per day. Remember this is a 49-day trek. Eventually, it was far easier (especially on the knees) to hike uphill, rather than downhill. At Periche (4,200 meters), we rented down-jackets, gloves, and wrap-around sunglasses from the natives --- and hired two Nepali porters to carry firewood and food. At 5,364 meters --- there was NO ONE at Base Camp, not a single tent. In 1973, the only action on Everest was a national Italian expedition --- and they had already climbed Everest --- and flew back to Katmandu by helicopter. Like you --- at the higher altitudes, we needed to stop--- EVERY FEW MINTUES --- to catch our breaths! Talk about ROMANTIC! --- on the way to Everest, my girlfriend and I were married by the Rinpoche at Tengboche Monastery --- with about a dozen other trekkers as our wedding guests and witnesses. At this time --- there were no guestrooms at Tengboche. We slept rough --- on bare table tops --- in the Monastery kitchen. 50 years ago, we rarely saw another Western trekker all day --- although a few more hikers appeared after Namche Bazaar. There was zero garbage along the route. We bought chai, biscuits, roasted barley, sampa and boiled eggs --- at the few chai stall along the way. In summary, we hiked four weeks from Katmandu to reach EBC --- and three weeks to trek back to Katmandu. Our total 7-week expenditure was about $200 total. Peace and love from the Earthpeople of Hawaii
There is always some different vibe when I watched your videos … and feel that I should go those places someday … you people never disappoint us … you guys are kinda Ronnie and Barty from India … 😊😊😊 hats off keeping exploring….
We had done this trek by this new year. We renamed the palces like sumerche to durmuse, dongdang to dhading, naa to naubise. Amused to see the five different laliguras, frozen tso-rolpa, clean Dudhkunda and windy bedding-Naa route. Best feeling of the trek is swiming at a spring reserviour in between kalche-smurche trail when returning.
Among the few treks I have done, I am still not over my Rolwaling Valley trek and seeing your video I want to go again lol. The landscape is totally mesmerizing, it's one of a kind. Btw you should have gone to Dudhkunda as well.
Yes. We missed out on Dudhkunda. Next time for sure though. The landscape here is indeed mesmerizing. You should make a second trip 😀 And thank you for appreciating our work 🙂🙏
"Each time I indulge in your videos, an overwhelming sense of joy and positivity engulfs me. I am immensely grateful for the breathtaking visuals of majestic mountains and the heartfelt portrayal of the lives of the local communities. Your unwavering dedication to excellence never fails to impress, and I eagerly anticipate your upcoming creations."❤
Thank you 🙏 for visiting our village and promoting it. I saw a picture of you guys in GA Gorkha Aesthetics... Just a Reminder to every Traveller: It is Restricted to walk in the lake as it is a holy lake Aswell as the ice may break down anytime and also to prevent the major accidents. So, my message to every Traveller is that do not walk in the frozen lake as it is restricted area . Traveller can hang around the lake and Enjoy but do not break the rules. This is a Very IMPORTANT message so, Can you PIN my comment.
Everytime i watch your videos it always feels good and bring positive vibe ..Thank you so much for the beautiful shots of mountais and showing the lifestyle of those peoples ..you guys never disappoint us ❤ looking forward for new videos
You are my favourite travel channel on UA-cam. I like watching your documentry films. I accidentally found you as I was searching good travel films. I'm a budget solo traveller and I been constantly following your channel. I hope one day I get chance to travel Nepal and explore mesmerizing remote mountain settlements. Regards #Ashishchandrana
We are so glad you found our channel 🙂🙏 Thank you so much for appreciating our work and we are happy to know our content is helpful for you as a budget solo traveler. It always is good to hear that our work helps other fellow travelers 🤎
Thank you for this amazing work. I loved watching it. Thank you for visiting Josef Phurba Lodge at Beding and Na. One simple request is that please always keep in mind that whenever you travel, don't forget to respect local's beliefs and values. Tsho Rolpa is not just any lake, we consider it holy. It is also not wise enough for your own safety in such a remote terrain to walk on the frozen lake! It's illegal as well, to be honest. Stay amazing and spread love. Cheers!
Thank you so much for appreciating our work 🙂🙏 And also for informing us of the norms of this beautiful place and it's wonderful people that we may not have been aware of 🤎
We stayed there yesterday at NA, the Didi was amazing there Also got the change to meet aunty at beding and delivered her the message sent by Didi about the glass thing for the newly built cottage 😂
