- In this University of Maryland at College Park video, political historian Allan Lichtman describes his theory to predict which political party will win the presidency based on 13 historical factors. Lichtman is the author of The Thirteen Keys to the Presidency.
Why doesn't this video have millions of views? Lichtman makes so many painful but important observations trying to help us learn from history.
Look at the college protest now history repeats itself it reminds me of divesting from South Africa and it reminds in in some ways of Vietnam but we some how think that the pro Palestine protesters are wrong even though history proves that they’re going to be right.

This guy is a genius. As he said and he is right, you can't be partisan in making these predictions. And he does this him being a Democrat and he does an awesome job in putting all of that aside making these predictions very early on.
In 2016 he said his predictions were for the popular vote. Trump lost the popular vote
@@nateisawesome766If you watch interviews from that time, he's pretty clear that he was predicting Trump would win "the election." Which implies the electoral college.
As a Christian, I do believe that Mormonism is a heresy, however, I’d vote for Mitt Romney 1,000 times over before voting for Trump.

I'm not as confident as you are. The social unrest key could very easily flip from anti-Israeli protestors + there's always room for third parties to pick up more votes/a scandal to come out. I wouldn't say this is in the bag quite yet - and that's not even touching on Trump's intention to overturn the results in the case that he loses once again.
Professor Lichtman is dynamic and brilliant.
He said that is embedded in the WPV which is something they deeply harp on. He did not say it was not part of other groups.
Man... interesting time capsule. As time goes on Allan Lichtman looks less crazy or lying. I think hes actually onto something with this.

Alan getting one wrong seeing he doesnt think Obama can get elected.
He noticed more people were ready to elect a black Africa than voting for a woman.
He also said whoever got nominized for the democrats would win.
He said more people were ready for a black African than for a woman.
But in his final prediction he did predict Obama. The keys came through for him.
