- What's up UA-cam! This was my first time out at Bean Canyon and I can say it 100% lived up to the hype. We tackled some tough single track, some snow and riding down a flowing creek. This one is a little bit slower then the rest of my videos. This was the first time that I truly considered that maybe I am riding the wrong bike. All in all had a great day. Hope you enjoy!

Great video Sean. I got to check that place out with some of the guys from the club back in October. I felt the same way you did on my heavy WR450 in the tight stuff. It was dry and loose when we were out there. We rode through the same creek. That was the ride that solidified my choice to pick up a 300 2 stroke. They're awesome on the trails. Made me a slightly better rider too, lol. I still have the Yamaha and plan on using it for the longer DS rides.

I've ridden north of there near Mojave most of my life. I really need to ride this area, Bean Cyn. Looks really fun. Alot more variety and not completely whooped out everywhere.
If you are going to spend a lot of time in the rocky creek beds and other slow tech stuff, the 300 2 strokes are great. I have a 2009 530 exc and 17 300 xcw. The 530 doesn't go out any more.
Hi John! This was my first time out at bean and it was amazing. Yeah after this ride I realized if I am going to be doing more of the slow stuff I might be on the wrong bike. Going to start looking for a 300 2 stroke asap.
Dang this looks awesome! I've ridden West of Bean Canyon and it was freaking sweet. I need to try this place out. Riding looks superb. Your 500 handled it great. That bike is super capable.
Thank you! Yeah Bean was an amazing spot to ride in especially right after the rain. Can’t wait to get back out there my self! Had a tough day on the 500 but it’s gotten me thru anything i have throw at it so far that’s for sure. Just tough to gauge sometimes when everyone else is on a 2smoker lol. @@WardEnduro I had a '21 300 XCW and it was awesome, but I love my 500 more- as an overall bike it's just simply smoother. Yes, the weight is different, and noticeable- but for us CA guys having something plated is almost more valuable than the weight loss. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ some might disagree with me, haha.

Most of us regulars try not to include that location name in our videos, the authorities want to shut it down and this only helps their efforts.
