I missed a whole week of lessons, and i'm almost glad I did because this made it so easy for me! instead of the overly confusing stuff in class.
Glad my videos helped you get caught up on your lessons!
Thank you, I have a test on this tomorrow and I barely understood what we were doing in class
You’re welcome! Glad my video helped you! Good luck on your test! Report back if you want and let us all know how you did.
My friend and i during online schooling:
Allow us to introduce ourselves
Amazing. You just saved me from getting an f on my exams.
I had absolutely no idea how to solve scaling problems until I saw this video. Scaling theory, very well explained. Thank you.
you taught it better in 5 minutes than my teacher did in 2 weeks
Thanks this is very helpful for my math test
Your welcome! Good luck on your test!
I love watching your videos! They always help clarify what I learned in class because my teacher doesn't do a good job of explaining it. Thank you for all your help, these videos always help me study for my tests and exams :)
This is way better then how my teacher explained it. I understand it now thanks.

You’re welcome Aima!
If I cube the scale factor of the original, will I get the volume of the new image?
life saver!
Sir I need you to teach me! You're great at explaining 😍
Good visual to use when tutoring my Geometry students.
Thanks Debbie!
when yu calculated the scale factor 2.25 of the cube is that the surface are of the first cube or the second cube
Is the same principle for diameters? I need to know the factor for laser engraving on cylindrical objects. The rollers are 20mm and the object is 61.3mm diameter
I need the word witch is 37.16mm to laser onto the object at about the same size. Also the diameter of the object will change, for different items. Thanks
Jpg image ko 1 mm : 4 meter par scale karna hai to scale factor kya hoga.
Fantastic video, thank you.
You’re welcome Alexander!
What if I want to find the area of a similar larger parallelogram? Do I just take the ratio of the lengths of one side of the parallelograms and square it to get the scale ratio for the area?
Yes
Completely saved me
Glad my video helped you!
But what if the problem has already set the two similar figures volume, and you need to find the scale factor? Do you just reverse the process from finding the volume of said figures or do you use another method?
Ame, correct! You would then take the cube root to find the scale factor.
Uau Brillant! I thought that I can relate this just with scale (like scale maps) , but not with this relations! Brillant!
Glad my video helped you understand this concept better Jose!
is there a way we can check that our answer for the area and volume is correct?
Tasmim...it really depends on the problem...if it is an area or volume that is easy to calculate then you can definitely see if you did your calculations correct and used the scale factor correctly...
okay.. Thank you for replying
Make more i really love it
Glad you like my channel. Lots more videos on my channel ‘Mario’s Math Tutoring’ and more being made.
Ok
I just subscribed to your channel

What happens to a scale factor when you are finding the perimeter
Ayleen, the ratio of the perimeters is the same as the ratio of the sides.
I was jk
u trash
I’m sorry to hear you feel that way. There are a number of other great math channels on UA-cam that you may resonate better with than mine...check those out.
