As a Sudanese who has lived in the diaspora for decades, I have been closely following the Sudanese Revolution of December 2018. I've witnessed its highs and lows, its triumphant moments, and the tragic instances where young people were targeted and shot with live ammunition. This documentary is the best I've seen in capturing the essence of this remarkable revolution as it unfolds.

Give it another 20 years. You have no idea that this war has basically sent Sudan back to the stone age. All public facilities have failed and there is literally absolutely zero education facilities so if you do visit right after the war then expect barbarism and scammers. Not too long ago, Sudan was safe for tourism and there were honest sellers unlike in Egypt who annoy and hackle you to buy their stuff.

I am South Sudanese immigrant living in Diaspora, came here as refugees, Sudanese. As black Christian African, my family and millions of South Sudanese people were brutalized, oppressed and marginalized by Khartoum regime/government supported by these Sudanese parents and possibly themselves. These people are religiously influenced by Arabs and Middle-East cultures, while physically look Africans, sadly are themselves experiencing exactly the same issues South Sudanese did. Late Dr. Garang De-Mabior and many others tirelessly fought against Arab regime/government from all Sudanese to liberate and live in peace with each, regardless of their religion’s status but were unsuccessfully for decades. Only people from the South of the country had the opportunity to referendum self-determinate to separate from Sudan. Leaving millions in this horrendous state. So called Arabs/Sudanese were warned by many that they were being lied to by the regime and chose to believe their Islamic ideology. I Arabs Sudanese peace stability🙏🇸🇸

Same story in Northern Nigeria, black muslim have no regards for their fellow black person, ironically the Arabs never see them as equal even with same religion. That was how terrorism started with Boko Haram in Northern Nigeria, they were protecting the terrorist thinking they will be able to wipe out the minority Northern Christian and Southerners, they supported imposition of Sharia in 12 Nothern states but it has now backfired. The terrorist has turned on them killing and displacing both Muslim and Christians and Boko Haram has become so difficult to destroy.
