Cycle Touring in Portugal: Torre (4K)

In late 2020 I cycle toured 1,800 km from the easternmost point in Spain (Cap de Creus) to the westernmost point in mainland Europe, Portugal's Cabo da Roca. One of the highlights of the 3-week trip was cycling to Torre, the highest point in mainland Portugal.
The trip was part of a quest to bikepack 50,000 km in 50 countries.

Thanks , I was headed to that area last march and had to return to Scotland due to lockdown, in central Portugal for last 2 years in Spring didn't see any other touring cyclists or much else really so i will be back. Good luck with your challenge.

Thanks Norman. Yeah, I only saw one other touring cyclist. He was riding the N2 from the north of the country to the south. Seemed like a cool way to spend a couple of weeks.

Um pormenor: o ponto mais alto de Portugal Continental é a Torre, mas de Portugal é o Pico, nos Açores (2.351 metros)
