I'm a 2017 Pilot touring owner with 60K miles. Great van/suv and the only two negatives are the Honda sensing is over-rated. I had a 2018 subaru and traded it in for the larger pilot because I needed the space but the subaru far and away had much better sensing technology. The 2nd item is the transmission. It kicks in to the next level when it's not necessary at slower 25 mile per hour speeds and the little jerk feel is pronounced in the back. My family was criticizing my driving based on the herky-jerky gear changes. Outside of that it's all very nice.
I love these vans! Got this as a rental and the ride was super smooth. Speakers have a lot of bass and sound good and clear, best minivan i’ve been in so far
This makes my 2017 Honda Odyssey Elite look so old.... Especially the LED day time running lights.... I should have waited a year before buying my odyssey....

I have had a 2005 Odyssey touring which I thought was great, now I have a 2011 Odyssey which I thought is even greater ,and now after viewing your video we are considering getting a 2018 Odyssey touring. The only thing that I am disappointed with is that Honda did not include the small cooling unit in the lower part of the front dash.We use ours all the time and it is just a great feature. Shame.
Great review as always! This new redesign of the Odyssey looks pretty good. I really like the interior. I think that, even though this is a minivan, Honda should consider adding a Sport trim level to directly compete with the Toyota Sienna SE trim level.
We have actually owned 2 Odyssey’s, a 2000 and a 2006 and we loved both. This new one has some really great features we didn’t have available back then. They are just so roomy and great on long trips. Really considering this new model in the Touring. Great overview you have done explaining all the great features. Thank you.

For real. Honda pisses me off the way they nickel and dime their customers, especially when you get the top trim. Undamped/untrimmed/unlit glove boxes are another example, along with deleting the inside trunk closing handle on sedans. Zero excuses for using incandescent bulbs, especially considering this is an all-new platform. Honda probably saves a buck or two on all of these things combined. We'll probably end up getting a new Odyssey just the same, but that stuff doesn't sit well with me.

Wife and I just got a 2018 to replace our 2012. We wanted to get a newer one but they claimed to do away with the Hondavac so we decided to get an '18 with a few miles on her.
We just picked one up too. Had been shopping for a new Sienna, but with that wait on supply and the crazy prices we just got tired of waiting. Plus, we found a mint 2018 Touring with only 55k miles. What a dream to drive, especially coming from a 2012 Prius V. 3 kids approve too!

Don’t waste your money for the new 2018 Honda odyssey. The new designed minivan has serious electronic problems. My coworker bought the 2018 exl only lasted 8 months and 40,000-miles the electronic transmission system was broken. Honda headquarter has replaced a new transmission system for free and broken again after 3 weeks. When the car driving on the highway, it will suddenly decelerate automatically. The indicator lights are all on! Several times almost hit by the vehicles behind. The main thing: Honda don't know why(how to fix it)!!

MikesCarInfo I just read the MotorTrend first drive review and it says the second row seats don't fold flat?
Blake M. I would have to double check but they have to fold in half before they can be flipped back into the storage space so it seems fairly simple.
I don't know why fuel consumption is bad on 2019 compair to 2015.
