Thanks for this. The correct power supply for me was HP 65w, 19.5v, 3.33A. Instead, I was given Dell 65w, 19.5v, 3.34A (which should work)... and it DID work wor a year, but then suddenly stopped. I had a correct spare HP power supply and it SOLVED the problem. I'm guessing the Dell Power Supply had just given up (maybe?) Either way, your video helped my solve this, so thank you very much.
To save y'all 3 minutes 28 seconds: a single blink of the power button & Caps Lock lights at the same time means the laptop doesn't like the power adapter you just plugged in & will not start up. In my case, an Elitebook 820 preferred a 65W HP adapter over a 90W Dell adapter (which supposedly has the same voltage). Solution: plug in an HP or other compatible power adapter; no need to hold the power button for 20 seconds, reseat the battery etc. etc. Go figure. Hat tip to KH computers saving me a LOT more than 3 minutes in looking for error codes on HP's horrendously badly organized support site.
Thank you so much! Your video is saved me lol. I have spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong and none of the solutions on any other video or from my Google efforts worked but this did! You rock

I still solve it because according to me problem will be in nb circuit, volrage from adapter till first mosfet is stable and in relevant value according to nb label.
Thanks for watching 1. Try another charger 2. Remove and reconnect battery pack 3.check charger center pin volts Or contact me WhatsApp.... number mentioned in comments

Welcome sir
This lead me straight to the problem. My aftermarket PSU was putting out close to 50V instead of 19.5V!
Big thanks to KH for this video.
