I hear ya! Any more we hate going past the end of the driveway! We go out only when we positively must and do all the errands while we're out so we don't have to go back out again!

There’s a sweet girl at our church, about 15, and she was just diagnosed with Alpha Gal, and it’s believed she contracted it from chiggers. So I learned something new. I thought it was only from ticks.
We are suppose to start our winter preps in August and while still fiddling with the wood splitter, the big generator fired right up. Ultimately we went through the entire fuel system of the log splitter which was probably a good thing but getting the vacumm hoses connected corretly at the beginning with the fuel pump-filter combo did the trick for continued operation. Working on a number of otjer little details although we havent had a first frost; its coming.
Great video, y’all! I’m making a to-do list now! I recommend changing the batteries in your fire alarms/ CO2 detectors. Ours started coping this morning.
Living in AZ we get an influx of “snow birds” aka winter visitors so our traffic becomes horrendous starting this time of the year. When we moved here the population was about 8000 and now we are at 75,000 and we get well over 50,000 snow birds plus add the few smaller towns nearby that don’t have stores and they come to ours. The majority of all the businesses are on one street too. I used to avoid the heavy traffic by taking different routes but others have figured them out too. I actually started going to another town to shop at their Walmart and Safeway because they aren’t as packed. One of our preps for cooler weather is removing our sunscreens.
I love my Roomba but it seems most men hate the things…😶. Is it because they aren’t the ones that usually do the vacuuming and we that do love any help we can get! ☺️
To throw it all the way back to when video sign-off included "the pursuit of bacon" I know different costcos have different items. But we have found a really great uncured turkey bacon at Costco.
LOL! You know- we would have kept that sign off but found there was a company that already used that tag. 😝 we don’t have a Costco, but I did pick up the organic uncured turkey bacon from a Food Lion. It was pretty good. Tasted like ham.
Utah is the land of costco so I have like 6 with in 40 minutes of us. They also have good chicken sausage, and chicken teriyaki meatballs. And a good price on ground chicken and ground turkey. If you know anyone and they are willing to buy you even a $10 gift card that will get you in and then you just pay the difference with your normal card, bit the gift card works at getting you in the door
We also talked about caulking around windows but it didn’t make the video.

I got a easy tomato soup recipe last fall, That I actually like, all it is a jar of pasta sauce, and some half and half about 1 cup, that's it.
