    Hey Morgan!
I'm so happy that I've found your channel because I have ARFID too and it's extremely difficult to find some reliable information and help here in Brazil (even more for me because I'm 20 and doctors think this is a childhood disorder). So, luckily I can understand english and you're helping me a lot!
Thanks for your help and please keep making this videos!!

Vinícius Gil If you ever have the time, I think I have my captions open to editing, so you can add captions in other languages that you speak! I'm only fluent in English so I can only caption in English, but I'd love my videos to be more accessible. 💛 I'm glad I could help!

The way you chew on the apple is so familiar for me - that in between stage where you can keep it in your mouth but dont really want to truly feel its texture etc. Good luck on your journey and well done for the courage!!

Hey, all my life I've been told I was just a picky eater and until a year ago I came across your videos and realized that I also have ARFID. I was diagnosed and have been getting help but the journey is hard and I haven't been able to add anything into my diet yet. I was hoping you could possibly tell me how you have been or if you have been getting help and if you are getting anywhere with it and opening up to new foods or have been able to eat things now without being uncomfortable or afraid to have it. It would mean a lot to me as Im at this point losing hope that I'll ever get anywhere with my ED. I'm also very proud of you for trying those fruits in the video.

Good job going for it! I have a hard time with fruits because they have to be really firm, which usually means... not quite ripe lol. So then the flavor is not amazing. Store bought raspberries reeeeally weirded me out at first, but now they’re aight. Wild ones are so much better! Much more firm, not “hairy” that I remember, and way more flavor.

Hey wish me luck, tomorrow is my pediatrician appointment to talk about the possibility of having arfid. This video makes more confident that I do, me and my now ex friend used to have an inside joke where I freaked out to try a peach and I used to get made fun of for that but that reaction I see you having with Molly is EXACTLY how I reacted only with a hell of a lot more nervous laughter since I didn't even know about this disorder yet and was well aware of the weird looks I get when I react so strongly. I'm really really hoping I'm right about this and I'll finally have a name to put onto this thing that's been around my whole life. Your videos really helped me figure it out so thank you, there's not a lot out there on arfid and I really appreciate it.

This is really interesting for me! I've never been diagnosed but I am positive that I have ARFID. Food has always felt like a struggle for me between safe foods and not safe foods. More than anything texture is what throws me off. And vegetables are the one food type I struggle severely with. I love fruit and can try any of them easily because fruit flavours but more so textures are so comfortable for me. While vegetables not only rarely taste nice the texture makes me severely uncomfortable. I've definitely got past the fear level of it and now it's more a discomfort that would mean I can't enjoy a meal that is only vegetables. It would rather become a test in which I'm under lots of pressure and stress. I think I had a lot of fear because when I was younger I was forced to eat stuff and not allowed to leave until I did. The frustrating thing was my parents often thought I was just a picky child but I've always adored food and I wish I could eat any and every food. I can watch cooking shows for hours. I can make stuff. But when it comes to eating it I struggle so much. It's nice to see I'm not alone in my struggles with food 😊

i'm trying to figure out what it means that i just started cringeing so much at just seeing this video in my subscriptions feed. not sure.
also tbh hearing you describe these fruits from your point of view made me not want to eat them either lol
i think i may understand what you were trying to describe how you felt before eating the dragonfruit. maybe i just have an extreme aversion to peas, but when i have a spoon of peas in front of me, i feel tense all over, and even getting anywhere close to the thought that they could go in my mouth and into my stomach causes me to feel queasy and have some sort of violent vomit/gag-reflex combo of twitching in my stomach muscles. terribly sorry for such a graphic description :/

That is the dullest knife ever. Pretty sure I have arfid too. Oranges are a huge no. That apple you tried is the only apple I can really handle but it has to be tiny pieces. I have to inspect berries like no other and even then the only way I might eat them is mixed in yogurt (no guarantee). Grapes are yummy VERY rarely but they have to be like. Perfect. And they very rarely are so NOPE. kiwis are ok if they are properly prepared and ripened, if not, too sour, do not like, nopenopenope. Melons like honeydew and watermelon can't be too slushy but cant be crunchy. But anyway, so proud of you! The dragonfruit always interests me but more as decoration. I would never eat one tbh

I love fruits but I hate veggies and fish so much due to I cannot stand on texture and smell and taste. I like fruit due to sweets.
