The best club of its kind in Western Europe in the prime of it's lifespan. I was privileged to live a canal away and get 18 months of the best of it. After relocating I miss it like hell already. Incredible vibe and the spirit of Amsterdam in one spot, especially on Sundays. One a kind.
I've been to Ibiza, Barcelona, Las Vegas, Los Angeles.... I can safely say that this is by far the absolute best club I have ever been to, the next best venue in Amsterdam would be the Gashouder (whenever they host Awakenings or Amsterdam United). The vibe in Trouw is amazing, the crowd and the staff are amazing. It shatters all the descriptions you hear about Dutch people being cold or unfriendly.... A must-see while in Amsterdam!! Enjoy it while it's still there!!
Great Club !! I visited Amsterdam one month ago and Could Feel the Love for Music and for details . Very nice feeling in the club, if you will visit Amsterdam you must go here!!
The thing is i've actually been there, and yes, the club is amazing, but i currently live in Berlin and i assure you, the atmosphere, the mood of the people and the WAY to make party is totally diffrent and for me so much better, cannot post a video cause here is forbidden to film and make photos,as it should be.
Edoardo Bertelli you name it, it's so much better for you but there are other people which might think different. Gladly not everyone like the same clubs and music, it would be boring.
Yeah Watergate.... It used to be one of the best clubs till 2009? Now it's just a place for anyone to take coke and try to be "techno". Berghain is cool but there are definately better techno clubs here in Berlin! Were going to Amsterdam soon and i'm pretty excited about Trouw. What i like about Trouw is, that it seems to move forward and is not stuck like so many clubs in berlin.
DerrtyM Could you tell me (if you will read this, so many months later...) which clubs you'd recommend in Berlin? I've been to Tresor, Berghain, Watergate... Which clubs would you say are definately better? Very curious and hoping to go to Berlin soon again :)
