The 1400 turbo allgrip automatic is the best. Fast and really good on fuel. And the steering is not too light, its very responsive. And stop moaning about plastics, its a pratical car and easy to clean. F that premium stuff in Audis.
@@rivervalegroup Since Nov 2021 i have one and allready done 15000 km it it. The best allrounder i had in my life. Top spec 1400 non hybrid allgrip 6 speed automatic. Fast, quiet, comfortable and very light on fuel. On long runs is do 5 l/100 km.

I received our Vitara S Hybrid a couple days ago. And i'm really happy already, easy to drive, and easy to live with. I'm 160 cm high, and had a issue to fit on the backseat in at Toyota C-HR.

I'm on my 2nd vitara making it my 5th suzuki' all been reliable economic cars, I will, continue having suzukis, you can't really judge by just having a car for a few hours or couple of days.
This test driver know nothing about vitara , i' m sorry, but this is the reallity. Vitara have one good interior, all is good assembled and also better than s cross where there is only bad plastic , the side on on vitara is not of plastic , on s cross yes . Again ,vitara have one total of 18 adas sistems, incluse cruise control that function also with the limits of the road , and the eyes 👁 in the middle that look if you are tired . The drive with vitara is perfect , with perfect change of direction, the sospensions are good like one off road , vitara have sensor lights and rain automatic, poltrons with eletric hot ecc...and with mild hybrid you can to drive at 20 km. L. . VITARA IS ONE GREAT CAR AND GOOD CHOICE 🏆🫵
The paddles are fun, albeit it is not as fun on models with the same transmission but with the shifter in the centre console(with the plus and minus in the right location no less) also the 1.4l would be faster as its turbo charged, the 1.5l is naturally aspirated with dual fuel injectors per cylinder for fuel efficiency. On that note the new Grand Vitara is going to be unveiled in India this month.
@@rivervalegroup it depends, its based on a hybrid powertrain so that's a step in the right direction. My other major consideration would the boot space.
Ive got one. Switched over from the Vitara SZ5. Biggest disappointment is the lack of boot space because of the battery. Also there is a painful ‘lag’ when accelarating from stop whilst if decides whether to go electric or not. Turning aircon on stops electric mode . The rest is as before
I live in Canada and I just actually wish that Suzuki sold vehicle's here in Canada because it makes me feel very sad because wow are they making nice stuff right now
Hi Chris, the new Grand Vitara is due to launch in India next year. There are currently no plans for a European launch but we'll keep you posted on our social channels with any updates 👍
Great review! The Suzuki S-Cross is a better car but the Vitara is a better buy. Both, along with the Duster Diesel 4x4 are the best real SUVs money can buy.
I love this car, would buy it but the model in my country is the naturally aspirated non hybrid minus the active driver assist systems. Worse, it’s more expensive in comparison to it’s competitors😔😔😔

4x4 does 0/60 in 8.9, got one tested it....and the new Vitara 2022/2023 is a 1.5 none turbo and is crap......a total downgrade don't know what Suzuki are playing at.
@@rivervalegroup hi, it needs a complete interior reworking to bring it up to European level of family-friendly SUVs. Also, better soundproofing from road noise.
Some refreshing of interior would be nice, but all touch, unnaturally large touch screen is downgrade for me compared to Vitara. Also, while Vitara has multiple aids, I still appreciate visibility which is rare thing in today's over designed cars...
Would you consider getting a Vitara in 2022? 👇
i mean i booked a Hyundai car so..
Yes
Really good reliable honest motors. Think the mild hybrid booster jet version is the best of the bunch
I would choose a Vitara non-hybrid for better reliability.
Yes. But will 2 cycles fit in the back.. that's the decider for me 😊

I got one of the last Diesels! 65mpg/4.5l/100km. A great, reliable car (but it transmits too much noise on bad surfaces.) 9/10
Thanks for sharing your ownership experience! What made you go with the diesel variant?
Bought it hardly used, top spec. Great torque/ weight, constant power and fun to hurl round bends and corners.
I'm pretty sure the 2WD Vitara is front wheel drive.
Apologies for the error Andrew - a correction has been added to the description 👍
@@rivervalegroup No worries, thank you.
Really need to do your homework. FWD not RWD and the MORE powerful 1.5 puts out lot less power than 1.4T.

@@rivervalegroup it depends, its based on a hybrid powertrain so that's a step in the right direction. My other major consideration would the boot space.
All the driveability / sluggishness is from the rubbish "uprated" engine in place of the Boosterjet. The Boosterjet / auto setup was an absolute gem.
Does this put you off getting the new Vitara?

I really learned a lot about types of computer types from this.
It isn't rear wheel drive - it's front wheel drive or optional Allgrip four wheel drive. NOT rear wheel...

They are playing at reliable engines that won't explode after 30k km.
They value reliability.
Outdated style. Suzuki’s designers must take a look at style of Hyundai and Kia
Do you think the Vitara is due another refresh?
@@rivervalegroup hi, it needs a complete interior reworking to bring it up to European level of family-friendly SUVs. Also, better soundproofing from road noise.

Kia and Hyundai are shit to go offroad and visibility is way worse because of their design. Some folks prefer to see where they are going...
I wanted to get a vitara until I saw your review 😕
They stopped selling it in my country. Suzuki couldn't compete with the offerings from Japanese, Koreans, and Chinese.

Just buy a Kia Niro!
