The 1400 turbo allgrip automatic is the best. Fast and really good on fuel. And the steering is not too light, its very responsive. And stop moaning about plastics, its a pratical car and easy to clean. F that premium stuff in Audis.

The paddles are fun, albeit it is not as fun on models with the same transmission but with the shifter in the centre console(with the plus and minus in the right location no less) also the 1.4l would be faster as its turbo charged, the 1.5l is naturally aspirated with dual fuel injectors per cylinder for fuel efficiency. On that note the new Grand Vitara is going to be unveiled in India this month.

All the driveability / sluggishness is from the rubbish "uprated" engine in place of the Boosterjet. The Boosterjet / auto setup was an absolute gem.

I received our Vitara S Hybrid a couple days ago. And i'm really happy already, easy to drive, and easy to live with.

@@OsvUkVehicleSupply quality and value for money. The car did well, on the parameters we weighted well. The Vitara offerd a a comfort, that we was kooking for. For a good price. And we aren't drivers whi attack the corners, but just want a good ride. And the day to day economy suited us perfect.
The Toyota C-HR was to small in the back, the Peugeot 2008 was to unrelieble, and the Toyota yaris Cross was to noisy

Ive got one. Switched over from the Vitara SZ5. Biggest disappointment is the lack of boot space because of the battery. Also there is a painful ‘lag’ when accelarating from stop whilst if decides whether to go electric or not. Turning aircon on stops electric mode . The rest is as before
