That DJI OSMO does seem to be working well for you Compton. Not sure what I am going to do with my channel at the moment, it has been dormant for ages. Not sure I have the head space at the moment but will see. Still tempted by the Pocket 3 but should really get the current cameras back up and running along with the channel first.
Yes I freaking love it and for the easy of use and simplicity. It has definitely made me about more creative and excited in recent weeks. I highly recommend it for sure. If you’re after something more rugged then maybe the osmo action 5 might be better. But for the gimbal the active track and the external mic capabilities I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
UA-cam has evolved some much more. You could do with choosing a format that’s repeatable. What is the unique thing you offer to the world? Lock in on that go super niche not broad.
I know what this is to my current clients within the photography space, but i am currently trying to figure out how to share that with the wider audience and community on here. So bring back the good old vlog style content to the authentic side to what happens behind the scenes on my photoshoots

I had a DJI osmo and took it to Ghana with me. I dropped it...😢 you should do quick videos that's BTS, highlights of a shoot, setup without explanations just visual

If you have 2,300 watch hours, on roughly 220k total views, the average watch time per view is 38 seconds. I would focus on trying to figure out why viewers arent engaged. Humans are super picky and have about an 8 second attention span. I havent watched alot of your videos but as i type this i see you talking in a car.. you better be exaggerating your emotions, or saying something SUPER interesting if you are talking that long. I will say, kudos to you for continuing to do it. I always say that doing something only for money is the wrong approach. You can also just keep doing what you are doing. If you like vlogging and just talking into the canera, just keep doing it. You dont HAVE to get monetized.
You have to have a niche that resonates with the audience that you’re posting to. Example! Millennials, 50 and better,etc. UA-cam has very recently come out with a streamlined process of how to monetize your brand. Review it and FLY!, Brother!
Not necessarily. It the watch hour that take the longest. It one everyone chase the most as the subs are abit more achievable if your content is good, searchable and relatable.
After so long on UA-cam, and still not getting the watch hours you need, then there is something wrong with your content. As another user below noted, your retention is in the basement. You have to figure out why this is, and correct it. I have watched some of your videos, and they are really.. just boring. People don't like that. You need to make content people will want to watch. Also, trim down your videos. They don't need to be long. Short and engaging videos are also good here on UA-cam. Like 23 minutes BTS of you using a Godox. That could have been trimmed to 2 minutes without any issues, just highlighting the important stuff. As your subscriber count grows, you can put out longer videos since then you have a support base. But until that happens, I would recommend trimming down the videos to the absolute minimum needed to keep viewers engaged. Good luck in the future. I hope you can turn it around.
Okay I acknowledge your points. I recognise I there are a few things I definitely need to work on to help improve the situation. But rest assured i working on those things Although I don’t think it necessarily because they video are long. As mentioned in the video. I have done BTS, vlogs, diaries and god knows what else. But my failures as also taught me a lot of things about how UA-cam works. You have like over 500 videos spread over many years. You have barely come over 2k subscribers in all that time. It should be clear that what you have been doing isn't working, even if the content is "interesting" to the community. And vlogs are, unless you have something REALLY exciting to vlog about, or are 10 times more gorgeous than yours truly, really not working on UA-cam anymore. Trust me, I have tried it. There is nothing really wrong with your content. You just need to adjust it a little. Learn from what works and what doesn't. If you want to succeed here, then you have to adapt to your audience and their habits and demands.

I got monetized then my channel got terminated. My second channel got monetized then I lost my monetization 😢now I'm trying again!
