Becoming Human: How children develop between 6 to 11 years old

This is the second in a series of monthly lectures by Teacher Martin Schmandt, IWS's Education Coordinator.
Between 7 to 9 years old, children's life body, also known as etheric body, is birthed and matures. What is the life / etheric body? How does its maturation affect the way a child learn? What life habits can support a child's healthy development in this stage? How does Waldorf education's curriculum meet the growing child's needs in each grade?
