  • This weekly time-lapse actually covers two weeks and has 32 closeups with an assortment of various activities, including bulldozers moving dirt and gravel, excavators loading dump trucks, dump trucks unloading gravel, concrete pours and concrete pumping, cranes hoisting things, and various other construction activities. For the first time we see the new tower crane doing "real work" (not work associated with its own installation). By coincidence, most of the closeups are towards the end - there's a couple of days near the beginning with no closeups.
Because of the President's Day holiday weekend, there was no work on Saturday or Monday, and there wasn't any significant visible work on the following Saturday either (the first light Saturdays in quite a while). So I combined weeks 33 and 34 into one time-lapse that covers the 9 days of visible work during that two-week period.
Every video has gotta have at least one mistake in it, and this one has an embarrassing one in the opening title -- it says "One week" when it should say "Two week". Obviously I copied that title and forgot to change it, d'oh!
In this "Ⓗ series", we're following the construction of a new 12-story hospital that will occupy an entire city block in San Francisco. This is a construction time-lapse at 900x, with "bonus" highlights/closeups scattered throughout at various speeds. compressing the two-week period from February 9 - 21, 2015 (Weeks 33 and 34) into about 29 minutes. Most night-times and non-working days are omitted.

Your hotel demolition series showed up in my search results last night, and I was delighted to find you were following up with the construction of the hospital. Very nice work, and thank you for your efforts. Some of the closeups remind me of the old Tropico game in style. I'll be doing a bit of binge watching to catch up. Did I say nice? Nice! Cheers.

indoorherbivore Thanks, and welcome to the channel! Don't try to watch all 34 weeks in one sitting -- pace yourself ;)

There's something awesome and by that I mean awe inspiring and godlike when watching Tower cranes moving. There's 4 around my work place in Nottingham, they are mainly jib style so look even bigger or taller. 1 is at least 230 feet from ground to cab. More if you add the vertical boom.

Maybe crane bill broad void the contract and required to removed or disable the light.?
