Good Morning Jill, Yes, it is a well-maintained town, that is for sure. The area itself in its natural state, is also lush and somehow maintains itself in a state of beauty. It is a magical place to visit and bush walk. It is, as always, lovely to hear from you. Happy reading and safe travels Cheryl (ABT)
It is a very lush area Sarah. The rainfall helps immensely and there is certainly something spiritual about the area when you stop and listen. Magical! It is lovely to hear from you. Happy reading and safe travels. Cheryl (ABT)
What a wonderful video! I loved everything about it, the format, the very interesting indigenous history in your voiceover, the other information you spoke to, the occasional glimpse of the doggos (and Mark haha), and of course Myrtleford is a lovely town. It looks like you had the perfect day weather wise for a visit. I haven’t been for over 30 years and it has changed so much. Thank you 🙏
Thank you Jo. What lovely things to say! Gosh, we appreciate it all so much. The dogs need more exposure I think! They are very photogenic! Myrtleford is truly special and you can feel it when you are there. Much magic has happened there, I think. You need to return for a weekend, perhaps? Happy reading and safe travels Cheryl (ABT)
Thank you so much @The_Wandering_Woodster. Your kind and supportive words are very, very much appreciated. We will do our best to 'keep up the good work'😃 Happy reading and safe travels ABT
Beautiful Myrtleford! Whenever I think of this town I remember the trees. A dear friend of mine was the Uniting Church minister a few years back. She loved her time there. Also an excellent winery not far from the avenue of trees. Thanks for a beautifully shot video.
You are always more than welcome Peter and Jasper. Thank YOU both for watching and participating in the channel. We truly do appreciate your input and kind words (and a bit of unknown local knowledge....Fancy you knowing the Minister!) Until next video, Happy reading and safe travels Cheryl and Clan (ABT)
Thank you Cheryl. Myrtleford is a beautiful town. You mentioned the Bogong Moth, we used to get them in thousands in my area on their migration to the mountains. We would have them resting every night for at least a fortnight. Sadly they Havn’t come for at least five or six years. I do not know why. Best wishes.
Oh James, that is a worry and very sad indeed. It certainly gives an indication as to how 'development' is taking its toll on wildlife. A very big worry indeed. Thank you once again for watching and for being so informative about these areas. Take care, happy reading and safe travels Cheryl (ABT)
There was estimated 99.5% collapse, Bogong Moths were added to the IUCN Endangered Species list in December 2021. Scientists are currently working hard to understand more about the decline of Bogong Moths and how to protect the species.
Thank you for providing this information @jxmai7687. I will have to do a bit more research on the Bogong Moth and find out how to help, be it donation or such. Thank you also for taking an interest. It is appreciated. We hope you continue to enjoy the channel. Happy reading and safe travels ABT
Hello @lauriepittock9897, Thank you so much for joining and watching the channel. It is a lovely area, more so when we know the longstanding history behind the man-made structures. As with all places across the World, we are becoming more populated and to survive, these towns do need visitors patronising their businesses. But I understand what you mean. We hope you continue to enjoy the channel. Happy reading and safe travels ABT
A great video. Exquisite town where everyone seems to maintain their gardens beautifully. Thank you for another excellent video full of information ❤

@ thank you very much for that. It is very sad indeed. I always looked forward to them every year, it was an awesome spectacle! Cheers.
May be the 2019-20 bushfires did the toll. There were may farms around this area were also affected.
