Even before they ever spoke they sang together, at a session in Irish pub Mulligans in Amsterdam. Now Sophie Janna and Margot Merah tour all around the world with their Scottish, Irish and American folk repertoire and intimate self-penned songs. The beautiful blend of their voices, unaffected style of singing and choice of songs makes them a sought after duo in the international folk scene. The past few years saw them tour the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Scotland, England, the United States, Canada and Japan. They presented their fourth album 'Undone' in a sold out Paradiso and the album was #1 in the Euro-Americana chart for several months. The Lasses are currently working on their fifth album. Accompanying themselves on bodhrán, tenor ukelele and guitar, their great vocal harmony always takes the center stage.
