I had a 1992 model KB 100 RTZ, delta super tuned engine. I sold it due to nobody at my place could repair it but can buy it back, can it be restored? How much will that cost? I had driven it upto 114 kmph. I miss that sound.
Speedometers can be repaired. Find an expert auto rickshaw meter repairing person and get your meter repaired from him. If not please find a suitable shop in Nana peth area in Pune. Pune market may have some spares leftover

I have issue with kicker for my kb100. Every three months its goes out of order. It becomes free movement/ loses its action and we have to start the bike by pushing it. Mechanic charges around 1000 to 1500 saying he is opening the engine and oil seal to be changed etc for fixing the kicker. He says he is putting one small cube kind of thing for making the kicker work. But almost every three months this issue recurs. I have restored the bike spending around 30k. Now I feel very dejected and wants to sell the bike because of this. Kindly guide.
The small cube kind of thing is called as kick pawl or kick stopper. This small metal piece moves inside the kick ratchet and is a crucial part of kick starting your bike. Your mechanic is unaware of the fact that this piece is available in Baja packing for less than 200 Rupees plus he is using local kick stoppers to install in your bike. Local stoppers do not have the same strength and hardness that is required to do the job and hence you take it on yourself to find a genuine bajaj/kawasaki spare next time your kick fails and ask him to install that part in front of you. Kick stopper breaking was a common issue with these motorcycles and hence you need an original piece. Original piece also wont last very long hence get more than 2 pieces if you can.

Does the bike automatically increase the speed at idling? Check the accelerator cable for damage and stiffness, if the cable is fine then check the accelerator grip if its damaged then change that. Lastly dismantle the carburettor and check the slider setting, spring status if that is faulty change the slider spring, set the float pin at a optimum Notch level and try again
Before going for major repairs... Check some small and less obvious stuff first... First of all check if the fuel is leaking anywhere. Inspect your tank from under side, you fuel tap/cock, fuel pipe, fuel filter if you have one installed and check if thecarb is overflowing. Check your spark plug gap. And while checking that see if the colour of the spark plug. If it's completely black and fowled up, carb setting is too rich. Adjust that. Drain the oil and see it colour. If it's grey or slightly green,your clutch plates are fried. This can seriously effect yout miilage. If replacing the whole clutch pack is better...my personal opinion. Another indication of clutch wear is loss of power during sudden acceleration. Check your chain slack. If the chain is too tight it can effect the performance which later leads to more fuel consumption. A perfect bike can also give a low mileage figure if you have aggressive riding style. Most of the things you can check visually at home. If nothing is found consult a good mechanic.

Rto ka process long hai but easy hai. Rto agnet se baat karke clear karwa lo ahr gadi chalao.
