Main problem is kuki occupied 80% area of Manipur and maitai occupied 20%. Kuki can purchase maitai land but maitai can't purchase 80% land. And other big reason is drug trafficking.

I'm from Manipur: The situation here is not good day by day, inocent people are diying daily. The government of the state is doing nothing even not trying to get a solution for both community. Daily wages worker are Jobless, Businessman stop business, Inflation is very high (Potato 1Kg- Rs 60, Onion 1Kg- Rs 80, Garlic 1Kg- Rs 350, Cooking oil 1L- Rs 200) etc etc. We are very tired😢, it almost 15months. When will we get peace 😭....

Attack on the advance security was probably stage-managed by those in power. How will the militants know the security convoy was coming? Security protocol provides for ROP (Road Opening Party) when security convoy is supposed to move through unsafe territory. The distance of the ambush site is only 26 Km from Imphal (that too more than half the distance is in Imphal plain area). Either there is a systemic intelligence failure or the ambush was stage-managed.
