The Wiesel 1A4 sitting at 7.3 having 3rd gen thermal, laser range finder and also DM63. And it is the size of a rat.
As if the stabilizer is importan for such vehicle with auto-cannon since you can just spray and pray and high speed without of worrying about ''if i miss, i have to reload'' like you play in an MBT.
7.7 BR is absolute ridiculous same to the RCV sitting at 9.0.

I never understood why RCV is sitting so high in BR (the one raised at 9.0), it's also pretty easy to counter and the armor is pretty thin, many enemy MBTs will have a .50cal to spray it. BMP-2 with just slightly less penetration but gets 4 ATGMs is sitting at 8.7 and I would say that BMP-2 is stronger due to it's ATGMs as well. Also, RCV(p) could easily sit at 7.3 since most nations have heavy tanks and MBTs that will not be easily penetrated by the 65mm APDS rounds, even from the sides.
Wiesel 1A4 have a turret with only 180° not 360° like him it's a big problem
I had already finished the entire Japanese tree by the time the RCV(P) came out, and I’m gonna be honest, after I spaded it, I haven’t touched it since. I’d much rather use the standard one at 9.0
Speaking of the standard Type 87 RCV, I vaguely remember it having STAB at some point, only for it to be removed due to its low br. Well, it’s 9.0 now Gaijin, please give it stab.
Yes, it had on dev server when it was at 7.3 with APFSDS, then they nerfed stab and bumped the br and then removed stab, bumped the br again and forgot about it
I remember bring this thing up to 9.3 with the premium line up and it was actually doing really well at the BR. although that is a given because most things at that tier are starting to lose the armor for mobility. Also I defiantly enjoyed the normal RCV more after I got it
I'm pretty sure it never had a stabilizer. It just had insane vertical speed that basically made it look like it had one. They nerfed the vertical speed so it's much harder to shoot on the move.
Really late reply, but the production RCV never had a stab due to the larger size of the 25mm, and the improved firepower was deemed more important (probably much cheaper too). Regardless, it wouldn't do much since the gun handling is already extremely good, to the point where I never feel like a stab would've saved me, especially since all stabs stop working after 75kmh anyways.

Japanese tree is a premium tree . That being said they at least let make SL and grind with Japanese premiums.

This is your ennemis with your 20mm with 66mm of pen : M60, T32, T29, T95, M103, T55, IS3, IS4, IS6, IS7, T10, IT1 etc. ahahahahahahahahah
This Type 87 is unplayable.
Type 87 RCV at 9.0 is just sad, also the P have a stab the normal does not
look at the italian vbc at 9.0 also, it has the same cannon as the rvc, a stablizer, a laser rangefinder, thermals and cannot be 50called from the front.
@@konna6130 and it’s faster spaded the only downside is it’s a bit larger which is actually a buff too because of less spall when hit
What's ridiculous is the Sub I-II having the same gun just a bit slower and no scouting ability 2.3 BR lower
How good does a clip have to be to get on thundershow? Because I destroyed two helicopters with the pvrbv 551 (not an spaa it’s an atgm launcher)in a row hitting one on the tail.

Yea, they are too soft for that... not at all defending them, but that would make the game incredibly dumb, especially because they weren't used in a land based role.

I really love playing this thing, i run it in my 9.3 lineup, it’s really effective against the higher br tanks because they get squishier at that br since mostly you fight leo1’s and other lightly armored tanks
Why not play the regular 25mm one that is far superior in almost every way other than no stab at 9.0, which isn't a huge problem for autocannon vehicles.
The bmp and marder get a missile launcher system and this this thing sits at a higher br with 20mm cannon and 60-some mm of pen? Maybe adding a missile launcher would make it decent at its br (7.7). Would people care that these don’t have one historically? Probably. But I don’t see how this thing can even remotely be considered good in its current state.

its a support tank, it works well on 8,3, and you bring the funny r2y2s along, on 8,3 there are also more enemies with weak armor tanks unlike on 7,7. i mean i understand what tec means, but i had only a positive experience on it, i am a light tank main tho
I up-tiered this thing to 8.3 so I would see a lot more leopards and a lot less Maus', but yeah I don't know why this thing is 7.7 when it could be 7.3 and would perform the same. Also by the way the Wiesel 1A4 is a MUCH better scout and has a lower SP cost, it doesn't have a stabilizer, but it does have gen 2 thermals and an LRF, and is a FRACTION of the size. But that is 7.3 and the RCV (P) is 7.7? I don't get it. Also the 20mm RH202 APCR seems to have atrocious angled pen, so sometimes if there is something you should be able to pen with the APCR you just can't. The sabot is leagues better but as you said, it's a rank 4 mod that you have to unlock with almost exclusively scouting. It's nuts with the balancing sometimes.
this thing is technically SUB-1-2 but extra speed...it shouldnt able to be 7.7 for speed alone when it have hard time killing light tank.
with the FOX introduced sitting at 7.0...that shit can kill heavy tank quite easily. Gayjin literally dont know how to balance well for most vehicles in this game

Compare this to the AMX-10P at 5.7.
Armor there is heavier and angled.

It's a great vehicle but it's not to play for me anymore since it's 7.7 now. It does fine at 7.7 it's ok but at 7.3 it had a great lineup. Infact it kinda made that lineup

It's simply because the video was still in the process of being uploaded in HD quality. First it gets uploaded in standard quality, and then HD quality. Standard quality obviously has a lower resolution. In no way is this TEC's fault, it's just how UA-cam works.
Yeah this thing is kinda abysmal, the gun is just kind of pathetic, hull can be .50'd from all angles, the only good ammo being hairpulling to get. Sucks this and the regular RCV are Japanese so they get thrown to horrendous br's. Also almost forgot these things can't reverse for shit too
