I think this was a good idea! Very cost effective. I also think that getting a separate clothing rack to place your weekly outfits on will also be a beneficial idea. This will separate them from your other pieces and will kinda serve as an inspiration rack too. I also think that your basic pieces like neutral camis, jean jackets, etc should also be placed in this section considering that these are pieces that can interchange with any look. Great video!

Herguiltless-garb such great ideas. I’m considering getting a clothing rack as well. Thank you.

I was also on a no buy. I put outfits on a clothing rack for the week. I agree if you don't have a system you find yourself pulling the same items. I also did theme weeks, ie blazer week or pastel color week or jumpsuit week

What a great idea... I normally turn my hangers the other way when I’ve warn an outfit and then at the end of the year I can see what I don’t and consider donating it.

These are good ideas. I never thought to plan a weeks worth of outfits.

Instead of turning the clothes inside out, you can do different colored hangers to show what you’ve already worn :) that way it’ll stay looking nice and clean

I wish I had come across this video back when I started my No Repeat Clothing Challenge. I blogged and crated UA-cam videos that lasted 11 weeks. I stopped after I started getting anxiety over creating outfits. Your tips would have helped. Inside out is a great idea.

I feel like another tip is to choose one item & style it in different ways.. you can get a lot out of that item you love but also wear other things in your closet. I recently bought a black blazer from H&M & I’ve been trying to style it with diff things like a top & jeans as well as dresses. It works!

I love the no buy. I've been trying to do this over the past year because I lost weight. I had tons of too small clothes that I had purchased because they were either on sale, clearance or thrift finds. I've been doing pretty good. These days the msin thing I buy are workout clothes.
    Great tips👍🏾❤

The inside out was a great tip. I've been trying to just be sure that I am wearing everything in my closet but I like this tip because it lets me know I have worn this before so I should choose something else,

Great tips! I actually just refuse to do my laundry for months on end. Or for my fancy pieces, I move them to another room. I plan my outfits for church or special outfits but I'll start planning my outfits work. And I'll definitely do the inside out thing. Thanks!

Great video!! This just what I needed. I buy clothes & just hang them up and never wear them, I always wear jeans & tee. I'm going to try & do this for a month & see how many outfits I can go through. Thank you for this video XOXO

I love the idea! I do something similar. I put the most recently worn items in a separate area of the closet to keep from pulling out the same items.

Awesome video!!! Reorganizing my whole house. Working in the bedroom next week. One thing I
do when I have worn something already, I place the hanger the opposite way. Works great!

Great tips! I went a little crazy this year so I have started being on no buy for now. I have an unfinished room next to my master that I will be making into my closet, & doing a big purge, & I will finally have a place for everything & accessible! TFS! ; )

What a great video! Especially with the shoes. I have wooden hangers and reverse the hook when I replace clothes in the closet. My husband hates it though. But your way is better because even though I can tell which clothing I have worn, I'm tempted to wear again. Hmm...I'm going to try your way.

My problem is that my closet is so full of clothes, that I do not have any extra space to plan outfits as you are doing here. Maybe I can move some things into the guest room so that I can try it. Great tip. Thanks! At the very least I can turn the items inside out so that I can keep track of what I have worn.

I think the inside out thing is a little much. I think it creates some work when you decide you might want to wear that item again. What you can do is just move all the already worn items to a different area and tell yourself not to go back to that area unless you have to.
Very great ideas though. Since I shop at the thrift store for $1 items, I am collecting a lot and I strive to wear every item. I think its also important to get rid of things if youre not happy to wear it.
I just graduated college and start my job in November but I have been collecting more formal pieces to get ready for the work environment.

vibion pullins girl I just did another closet purge declutter two days ago. It felt good but when I saw all the piles of clothes I had it was so much and I’m just one person. Imagine everyone doing this, so many unused clothes.
