I've recently discovered "English" pole fishing. (which is not the same as cane pole fishing) I recommend Winning Ways UA-cam channel. Elastic Pole Fishing is outstanding.
An old man told me and my brother when we were teenagers that the best pack bait is crushed up wheaties mixed with big red. We tried it out that weekend and I couldn’t tell you how many carp we pulled out of the water, along with a handful of catfish. Great stuff!

I re-introduced my kids to fishing recently and theyve really been getting into it and we enjoy watching your videos especially as i've never caught anything freshwater as big as those cats n carps you're catching on the regular. and on that note, as a Dad i appreciate your channel is pretty clean, seems difficult nowadays to find content where people arent dropping f-bombs everywhere. as we're still newbies we appreciate when you mention the tackle your using. you could prolly add links to the lines you like to use (saw you had the 2lb test in your Descrip, might as well throw links for your heavier lines and other tackle in there). i'm plannin to get one of those sumo rods so will definitely use yer affil link. heck, sounds weird but i'm also shoppin for those long sleeve sun shirts to protect from the sun so if theres a brand you recommend .. thanks for the fun content, we really enjoy too when you had the video with another youtuber (cant recall if that was planned or just happened) but that kinda stuff is fun with the interactions with the human species. :D

Where’s the chainsaw crew this year? Brother, I was “schooled” by a group of fishermen in my early years of fishing that fishermen use “bubblegum” colored baits, not hot pink. Still one of my favorite colors, whatever you call it!

I am watching from Elmira NY they have big carp in Brick pond on Sullivan street they also have big catfish in there as well. It is bank fishing only at Brick pond on Sullivan street in Elmira NY no boats allowed

Keep up the excellent fishing videos and well informed and still trying to figure out why you cut gut sack off and also why you don't like the channel cats. I know everyone has the preferences and you are different than some but don't change anything. If you are every in the Black warrior river area, I sure would like to see how you would fish it since it also is a major Barge River and depths are pretty consistent and bottom is smoot for the most part. well, what I have fished so far anyway. Some of my underwater camera footage has shown fish on the pack bait within 1 to 2 minutes. Usually they circle for a while and it takes them a bit to find the hair rig.
I like how he narrates the fishes thoughts😭 they just sit there with that dumb look on their face

Those Buffalo are some strange-looking fish with those big ole black eyes. Like they could look into your soul...kind of creepy. Oh got my KastKing Sharky Baitfeeder III today. It's a spinning reel that has a dual drag system one for when the bait thrown out and the other is like a normal drag. It work kind of like a bait clicker but you can adjust the drag if your were fishing in water with current.

@@KayakCatfish never seen a spinning reel like that could believe its saltwater rated for the price and love the bait drag set it just above free spool. Sounds strange to say that about a spinning reel.
