    Informative as usual dear.
Just a suggestion....Cast iron can be washed every day. Sprinkle salt and scrub it and wash in plain water. Dry it and coat with oil on both sides of the tawa. Been doing it for years now, so shared with u.

Most of your views match mine Ashu ji.
Hawkins cookers are expensive but extremely reliable. But cooking some foods like pongal, dhal, curd rice (I cook the rice in milk and butter for a creamy texture) creates a huge mess inside the kitchen.
Outer lid pressure cookers as you said are relatively mess free especially Svacch models from Prestige.
As for dishwasher safe, Ultra pressure cookers are 100% dishwasher safe (brand that makes wet grinders)

At higher altitudes due to low atmospheric pressure lower temperature the boiling point of water becomes lesser than normal one which is 100 degree centigrade and so all the water contines to evaporate quickly before the food gets cooked and needs extra time and water to cook
In pressure cookers the vapour is locked inside and the food gets cooked quickly when compared to other cooking methods
So at higher altitudes pressure cookers are time and fuel saving...
    Good information

Hi Ashuji, thanks fr sharing the information about kadai, cookers and pan.
Pressure cookers are beneficial while cooking in high altitude s as they work on the principle of cooking food under steam pressure. A sealed pot, with a lot of steam, inside builds up high pressure which helps food cooks faster. THEY also produce moist and tender foods and Increase the food safety catering to the needs of people living and working in higher altitude. Answer given by my
    Daughter to your que.

Very nice information. As you suggested to use triply kadais and pans. But in triply again aluminum layer is used. So, does this aluminum leaks into our food?
One more thing, why don't we use brass kadai's. Brass kadai is best to use. Ot increases the nutritious value of your food. Please reply mam.

Very nice video. I find the small capacity pressure cookers very cumbersome to use as food sprays out with each whistle.
Hence even if I want to make small amounts of food I use the 4 or 5L capacity cookers only as food doesn't come out when the cooker whistles. Technically speaking, the inner lid variety although difficult to close is safer than outer lid variety as it uses the same technology as aircraft doors.

At higher altitude, the air pressure is lower. At lower air pressure, water boils at lower temperatures. The time it takes to cook something depends on the temperature, NOT on if the item is being boiled or not. If water boils at lower temperature, food takes longer to cook.
