I set a goal that I was gonna run for atleast 2 mins in the morning at 6 am, and since it's just 2 mins, i knew that i would feel soooo bad if I didn't do that, so I set up an alarm for 5:30 am. It was difficult, and I mean really difficult waking up at 5:30, but I tried and woke up at 5:45 or even 6, and did 2 mins of running in the morning. And I've been consistent for the past 14 days. It happened cause I set a realllly small goal, a small habit, and that changed my whole daily routine. I've been drawing crazy everyday, doing youtube videos, meditating, journaling etc., And even then I have a ton of time left for doing new things. So the point is, set one small goal? That has the potential to change the way you align your day.
Also, I've become newly committed to maintaining my habits. Daily spiritual practice for... months, I am not sure. Daily drawing for two months, tomorrow. At 18 days for Gaelic. And the rest I've done daily since Jan 1 (water, conscious time outside, daily gratitude journaling) The drawing is the one that blows my mind the most. Before I started 2 months ago, I sincerely did not believe I could draw.
