This movie gives me goosebumps!! This is where it all began : with the original RCX 1.0! Seeing this video gives you a tantilizing feeling of the awesome power of robotics AT YOUR COMMAND. The true nerd recognizes the utlity of a wireless video camera (LEGO VISION COMMAND) controled by IR remote (sold seperatly) or by NQC code programmed into the RCX 1.0: the greatest microprocessor ever invented in the known universe. The RCX is so durible I have droped it down the stairs with no damage. It has survived long lonely nights of isolation, the horrors of batterie corrosion and the corrupted firmware. A true lego master will exploit the RCXs flexibility by building their own sensors and programming their own firmware. Everyone should pay homage to the great lego master builders honored on the Mindstorms site: the ones that built lifesized girlfriends that utilize 3 RCXs in IR link, and the ones who spent months reprogramming the RCX to play chess. The ones who created scanners, printers, typewriters, 60 leged walking millepeeds, ATMs, and other ingenuities. They deserve our upmost respect; and have truely earned the right to be called master builders.
