I attended this show, along with MSG '77 and The Philly Spectrum '77, & this by far was one of the better shows on the tour. Hard to believe it was 45 yrs ago....still holds up well as what defines what we referred to as " Head Music '.
I liked the idea of them flipping SHEEP to being the opening track of the show instead of playing it last as it was on the Animals record. Great opening to a show
This was a fortuitous find for me, since I was unable to see them perform live when they were touring after the release of “Animals”, and then after the release of “The Wall”, this material became virtually eclipsed and wasn’t often included in live performance recordings. This is the first time I have ever been able to hear this material performed live. Thank you for posting this recording! Please have an excellent and awesome day! ✨☀️
All these bootlegs are why im glad they exist. If they got their panties in a wad about people taping their shows and selling bootlegs, they should’ve planned on doing live albums.
Animals is the best Pink Floyd album. Love the first half of this concert. Animals may not be the most musically appealing album. It may have been the start of the fragmenting of the band. It is the best because Roger Waters started to give people what they did not want. The rest of the band is consummate professionals performing this sandpaper album on the ears. It has just enough harmonics in "Dogs" to keep the fantastic melodies of Pink Floyd avant garde. Overall I applaud Waters and the rest of Floyd while in disharmony creating a masterpiece of Rock and Roll
Animals and the tour never get proper respect. It was practically a Floyd greatest hits show as you got a reconfigured performance of Animals in the first half, then Wish You Were Here in order and parts of DSOTM in the second half and if you were lucky, Careful With That Axe, Eugene as a final encore Sadly they never released an official live album from this tour. Nor are there many concert photos. I’m convinced there’s a soundboard quality recording in their archives but Roger is the only against its release because he had such bad memories of the tour
Listening to this in 2024 and still mind blowing

Aww, for fuck's sake, stop lettin' off fireworks and shouting and screaming, I'm trying to sing the song!...XD

I agree the live sequence was better. They'd also play the early version of the song very early in the sets of the 74 75 shows.

Yea where's all the comments? This is a great gig!
This is a bootleg recording. Rare stuff, not for the common casual fans, I think of it as underground music. Esoteric.

' OOHHH ' Le concert de fou... ( Les veinards...) J'aurais tellement aimer y être.....
Très très Bon concert, très Bon jouage, maintenant une très bonne sûreté, mais surtout une très bonne énergie... * BRAVO *

Second greatest thing I ever saw . # 1 was the wall
Le début de la gloire......
Is David playing bass on "Pigs"? The bass part sounds a little complex for Waters.
I believe Snowy White played bass for this and Roger was on guitar
