Nice to see you spend some time with Al, as you get older it's rare to make to good close friends. I'm sure he really appreciates meeting you at this stage of his life to pass down the knowledge to another generation.
Those blue flowers that grow along his creek at about the 2:30 mark , you can’t see them here. But i got them coming back up this year and transplanted them from a pot into my yard. Got them when we had margaritas over there for Jimmy buffet day last year. Saved the seeds from the flowers last year and tossed them in my beds this year.
Al does it correctly , no pressure, pace yourself,. my Hispanic Friends have a saying and it is so true, there is always manana la manana or tomorrow first thing
I like the idea of calling your brother exactly that you love him as your brother so there was actually no need to put a step in front of it.. and as for Al he's like your grandpa your buddy your pal someone who mentors you and in return you Mentor him I think you're great Partners together.. and as for the Smith family that's it right on the nail head they're your family right ??
Neighbor Al is the man. He's so cool. Love his property too . Also. Watercress in broth in really good. My cousin lived over sea's for years and cooked it for us once.
I love the wonderful friendship you Al have it is precious, priceless. Wonderful the different generations bonding working together. You can learn from each other, of course Al would be more knowledgeable about things in days gone by. Al has a beautiful place. Al comment touched me when he made the comment that he knows you are fussy here he is a labour of love going around sprucing everything up getting ready for your stay. I love the way Al lives his life, nothing like it. The way we were meant to live our lives. I can relate I live alone on a mountain by the lake I take care of everything that needs to be done. I burn wood I take care that cleaning my chimney everything else that needs doing. I love the outdoors. I enjoy your videos always entertaining, relaxing. Thank you for sharing, giving Al a hand. I must say Al is doing a fantastic job , he is in good shape. We will not get hung up on a number Al is proof of that he continues doing what he has always done. I am proud to say Al has a secret admirer. We don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.❤
IM hooked….. To this content. Watching you 2 amazing men makes me reminisce about my papa. He and I were extremely close. He spoke, I listened. Simple. Even at a very young age, I knew that he was a walking talking encyclopedia. He was the most amazing handyman and an even more amazing person. He made sure everyone around him was ok before himself. Selfless and kind. He was very stern when he needed to be but very understanding and reasonable. He gave great advice. Life advice. He taught me everything. From fixing my car, to how to treat a woman. Everything around it and in between. I am him today. It comes naturally. I don’t even notice it. Other family members notice it and always tell me with a chuckle and a bit of a tear in their eyes. Everyone misses him and many have learned from him. You seem like a very old soul like myself and you seem to soak in the old skool knowledge and wisdom and have that soft spot to help the elderly. Keep this man close. I hope you do. Take care of him and yourself. I miss my papa every single day and would do ANYTHING to hug and hold him again for just a minute and tell him how much he’s taught me to live my life and that my life is a mirror image of him. I’m sure he’s watching…… Much love and Aloha from Hawaii 🙏🏼🤙🏼❤️❤️❤️
it gives me so much pleasure watching the two of you working on a project in the bush. the technique of getting that heavy log into the back of the truck, it seems so logical after one sees an experienced bushman do it, learned something new, appreciated. kind regards from the island state of Australia, Tasmania. 😌🌱🪵🪵🪵🪵🌱
Another amazing video. Great job Diego. We can learn so much from each other. Great job Al and Diego. Looking forward to seeing the finished project. Keep up the amazing work. Have the greatest day ever, love and peace.

I have 3 "step" grandkids plus 4 grandsons from my son & his 1st wife. I detest the phrase "step". I call them my bonus grandkids. I also have a "half" brother but he was just my brother. He passed away in 2013 from congestive heart failure. I met him when I was about 8 and found out when I was 12 that he was actually my brother.

Agree with dropping the word Step. It’s already been clarified in previous videos so it’s cool just to say brother. 🤙🏽
