I only got 8-9 hours of driving experience over the span of 3 weeks (got my temps 3 weeks ago). I just passed my behind the wheel test today with 5 points taken off (first attempt). There is a whole situation behind this as to why I did this in such a time crunch. But it’ll just take too long to type. It’s not smart to time crunch and I don’t recommend, but I had to do it with my situation. To get back on topic. @tupples2863 "overdrafts, debts, and other issues" If they didn't have enough money to pay for lessons due to other priorities, then it makes sense that they still don't know how to drive. If you're a learner, you forget the tips and such with long periods between lessons

You should make a POV video, a pov of yourself or the driver. After that we can see if we all enjoyed it or not whether you should do more content like that. I think it will be nice to watch that kind of videos.
I live in Ontario, Canada and wow the roads in the UK look confusing! Im a fully graduated drive and I don't think I could navigate these very easily whatsoever, kudos to this lad for doing well!!
I have over 1 year of driving experience, daily driving from home to Uni and work and let me tell you that they way I learned to drive from watching my dad (+30 years driving experience) to actually driving in a road test is a lot different. I had to somehow re-teach myself and force my self to drive like someone who just learned and it was so hard to get rid off those "bad manners" that people after passing their test develop, I passed on my third time due to, getting nervous and constantly thinking about not doing those "bad manners" like, not coming for a full 3-sec complete stop and just slowing down to the bare minimum (that was my issue the 1st time) and 2nd time was the parallel parking and doing it one-handed. The 3rd time, I gave my self a week to fully drive like I was on a driving lesson and it worked.
I'm also on the same stage as Jay I've only done 13 hours and I've being doing pretty well. I haven't done a mock test like he has but I have high hopes that I'll also pass first time. Great driving Jay good luck on your test!
My husband only had 7 lessons with an instructor and about the same with his step mum. Passed first time and is a very good driver. That said, I had a couple of friends who passed quickly who became arrogant about driving and I didn’t find them to be very safe drivers - they would change their driving style after passing to just doing what they wanted, regardless of laws or highway code.
I been a big fan of watching your videos bro this is the last one i watched before passing my driving test today with 3minors! I cant explain the feeling but im happier then ever i wish good luck to everyone on their journey!😎
A well accomplished driving family member he looks to have learnt for a few months before starting his actual lessons with an instructor. Then again, some people are really quick learners it does happen.
I mean driving really isn't that hard it's just learning to do a lot of different things at once and having good awareness. Once you get that stuff down it's not that hard
Hi guys just wanted to say that I lost my driving license about a week ago and now I have to wait 6 months until I can get it back. Reason being I was driving a bit too fast. I came back to this channel reminding myself how I was constantly watching these kind of videos before i got my driving license about 3 years ago. My point is congrats to everyone who passed on their test and remember to never drive above speed limit. I, however, had to learn it the hard way. Excellent video nonetheless.
In sweden they've abandoned coasting as a fault and some even teach 'clutch before anything', since it's more economical and 'green'. You don't "lose control" on newer cars from the past 20 years as you might have done on older ones (I've never experienced it). Breaking before clutch sounds like it would make the car to stutter as you have too low speed for the gear you're in.
i’m so proud of him he hasn’t driven that car before like good on him for doing so well!! i’ve got my test in a week and i think the nerves will ruin it for me
I'm still surprised that coasting is "bad". I actually do it quite often when approaching an intersection or a roundabout, though I obviously always keep my other foot right on top of the brake pedal and slow down as necessary for the situation... I just feel it gives me quite a bit more control, I don't lose unnecessary speed and it gives me the option to immediately shift into the right gear for my current speed
There’s no way putting the clutch down before breaking gives you more control when the engine is literally not working at that point and your car is technically just rolling lol
It's "bad" because it's not a good practice. From a mechanical standpoint it puts stress on the clutch release bearing and the brakes itself since you are removing any help from the engine assisting you in braking. Also it actually hinders your control of the car in the sense that when you are not in gear you cannot accelerate immediately, which sometimes is as important as braking, while not having the clutch down gives you the option of doing both. Hope that helps
@@MsMartin243 also at high speeds engine runs very fast. Brakes slowdown both clutch and engine. While coasting disengages clutch which can cause friction when car slows down and the speeds change (my guess)
Coasting at a higher speed then using the brake can put more stress on your brakes as there is no 'engine braking' when the clutch is down. The entire weight of your car is free rolling when you coast so it's best to only do at lower speeds like 5-8 mph depending what gear you are in. This puts less strain on your brake pads and your clutch bearing.
It’s been almost a year now since I passed, partly thanks to you Pin! I still come back every now and then to relive the feeling of taking my test again 🤣

I’ve never ever driven a car before in my life, i don’t even know where the gas pedal is, i took a 5 hour driving lesson and passed my driving test, this all happened in just 1 week. I got my learner’s permit in 2019, had it for 2 years and renewed it when it was about to expired, had the renewed permit for 1 year and it was about to expire in 10 days and i will start a everything afresh including a physical exam and a written test, i remember getting my drivers license on the same day my permit was about to expire, 20 minutes before it expired. @@gal7274one hour per lesson?? Here it’s 5 lessons but 2hrs each so 10hrs total. And 10hrs is enough to learn everything basics lol
Exactly I don’t believe these ppl pass in such short amount of time unless they had previous experience 😂😂😂😂😂
Fortunately I passed way earlier than I expected lol. Didn't start till I was 18 rather than 17, and only had a 4 month window really because I was going off to uni. I think having that short time frame helped because I didn't have the time to say let's do another lesson to be sure. Instructor was good as well because he didn't waste lessons going round different parts of my town, he just showed me the usual 3 test routes so I was experienced in those areas.
8 x 2 hour lessons (and let's be honest, not all of that is driving, it's just sat there for some of it), one shot at my test, had 1 minor for most of it then panicked a bit near the end and ended up with 7 minors but still good enough to pass!
Have proceeded not to drive since my test lol, due to not needing a car for work or anything but it's still nice to have the license sorted for when I do need to get one :D

hey just wanted to say that im passed my driving test today in first attempt manual, your videos gave me confidence on the road so ty. definitely gonna keep watch your videos!
Nice driving, I have passed my test long time ago but still enjoying these videos, really great! thanks for sharing
It’s mad how you’ve managed to grow this channel and make it something engaging… Onwards and upwards
1. Brake then clutch
2. No cross hands
3. Control steering wheel
What an überraschung! Jay managed to pass this mock driving test after just 13 hours!
Congrats Jay.
@Amateur💦⤵️ Go away!
I have my driving test a week on Monday, these videos are really helping
I recently passed my driving test in first attempt, at a difficult test center, with 2 minors & with 6 hours of professional lessons(i already knew how to drive). I used to watch these videos and they were helpful in understanding what shouldn't be done on the test.. you don't want to make all the mistakes yourself to learn what is right..That will take ages!.. better to learn from other's mistakes..
I passed this morning with 2 minors and this was the last video of yours I watched! Thank you so much for making these they really do help!
Jay only needs few more hours before he passes with one or two minor faults, when I did 13 hours I still had trouble with selecting the right gear before hills etc. Great Job hope he passes first time!
i passed my driving test in Sydney, Aus a few weeks ago. watching people pass with the instructor beforehand is so satisfying!!
I passed my driving test today, second time! Thankyou for all your videos Pin, they have been so helpful and good luck Brandon for Wednesday! We failed on the same day last year, you’ve got this!! :)
I past first time today 😐
Well done jay !! Smashed it lad💪🏼👍🏼 apart from coasting personally your better than most people I see on the roads keep to been a smooth and safe driver no doubt you’ll have plenty of no claim bonuses under your belt as you get older your insurance will fly down bro !! Well done again
I passed my test last week and Pin definitely helped. Really appreciate your videos mate. Keep it up
I wish I could learn from this Instructor! Very smart, qualified and seems well-experienced!
passed second time today with 4 minors🎉🎉🎉🎉im so gassed rn, thanks to this channel and many others i smashed it out!!
My test is in 3 weeks, but I haven't driven in some months. I plan to do at least 10 more hours of lessons and practice with family before I take it. Watching all these informative videos is helping me calm my nerves. Good luck to all!
good luck on your test

I past my test just after 10hrs. And DGN driving course was a big help. Now I drive big whip audi, u get mee. thanks man, the course was actually very good, and watching almost all of your videos, it really gave me that confident i was missing. Confidence is a very important thing, i used to be biggest ussy, in the beggning i thought 20mph was to much but now 70mph feels to slow. So guys take your time, dont overthink and believe in yourselv, if a old lady at 80yrs can drive then we can drive, no offense haa, is all in your mind.
It doesn't matter if someone passed after 20 or 50 lessons, as long as u pass thats all what matters.
Impressive for just 13 hours. Another tip for you, "if you have any doubts, DON'T!" and "ermm means no"
I had 7 lessons. 4 in my instructors car and 3 in my own. Did my test in my own and passed. Without my instructor even knowing I had it booked 😆 now that's how it's done 😆😆😆 2 minors. 1 for daydreaming at a green light at the other for stalling by starting up in 3rd gear. That was 6 months ago and I love driving 🚗 😍
Just had my 3rd lesson and I feel like dying rn
@@a-levelking8610 so did I that's why I went with my own car. I can honestly say you only truly learn how to drive 1ce u pass your test. It all comes from experience. Relax and you'll get it!

As an adult who is now in overdrafts, debts and various other issues, and who still doesn't have a license after over 8 years of learning to drive, it gave me great joy seeing and hearing the instructor's pain upon recalling how many times he has failed his mock test participants.
Once I get enough money, I PROMISE I am buying the course if you keep it at £39!
@@ip3931 if you've been learning for 8 years and still havent passed then maybe driving isn't for you brother and spending money on this course won't be much help if you've had 8 years of lessons
If you’ve e tried for 8 years and still not passed…I’m sorry but you’re a shit driver. Just take the train or taxi instead lol. I get it’s stressful, I failed the first time and that was because I was stressed and made some mistakes which I fixed the second time, but for you to be doing it for 8 years with no results is concerning. Maybe investigate what is holding you back and think about ways to overcome it.
Keep going. Failure is giving up. Don't let anyone put you off!
@tupples2863 "overdrafts, debts, and other issues"
If they didn't have enough money to pay for lessons due to other priorities, then it makes sense that they still don't know how to drive. If you're a learner, you forget the tips and such with long periods between lessons
I just passed on 14th, I am so pleased.. Can finally relax,, Tas mock test help me ..Good luck to everyone who's got their test coming up.
Thank you so much for putting up all this stuff for people to view for free it’s been so helpful. ♥️
just subscribed i’m enjoying these videos, as it helps me learn from my mistakes. currently 16 on my learners and watching these videos has helped me so much. Doing 40-50 hours now ✌🏽
I passed mine with 2h of lesson and 1h of mock test, got my license now and thats thanks to your videos 🤝
DVLA needs to save this dude time and just send him his license after watching lol
Well done mate, your driving is good, you'll be fine on your test
Passed last week with 4 minors and I'm still watching mock test videos. I can finally relax

Passed my theory yesterday. And have my second lesson booked tomorrow. So I'm finding these videos interesting. Thank you

A well accomplished driving family member he looks to have learnt for a few months before starting his actual lessons with an instructor. Then again, some people are really quick learners it does happen.
@steve I agree
Im after 14h of lessons and my instructor said im ready, sounds like someone is jealous...
Glad to say i passed with around 15h
I mean driving really isn't that hard it's just learning to do a lot of different things at once and having good awareness. Once you get that stuff down it's not that hard
got my test in 4 days, watching your vids on tt and yt are giving me more confidence about it!
How was it?
Hi guys just wanted to say that I lost my driving license about a week ago and now I have to wait 6 months until I can get it back. Reason being I was driving a bit too fast. I came back to this channel reminding myself how I was constantly watching these kind of videos before i got my driving license about 3 years ago. My point is congrats to everyone who passed on their test and remember to never drive above speed limit. I, however, had to learn it the hard way. Excellent video nonetheless.
Maybe its the softest of the hard ways to learn
In sweden they've abandoned coasting as a fault and some even teach 'clutch before anything', since it's more economical and 'green'. You don't "lose control" on newer cars from the past 20 years as you might have done on older ones (I've never experienced it). Breaking before clutch sounds like it would make the car to stutter as you have too low speed for the gear you're in.
I just passed today with 2 minors your videos helped a lot, thanks!
Well done Jay - all the best with the test!
know many people who just drive very well after little hours. comes natural to some people.
Although i drive automatic i must say watching these videos helped me know how to position my foot on the pedals and steering wheel
I literally just passed an hour ago and you helped me so much with different tricks thank you muchh
i’m so proud of him he hasn’t driven that car before like good on him for doing so well!! i’ve got my test in a week and i think the nerves will ruin it for me
All the best
Why does this comment even have likes?
Coasting at a higher speed then using the brake can put more stress on your brakes as there is no 'engine braking' when the clutch is down. The entire weight of your car is free rolling when you coast so it's best to only do at lower speeds like 5-8 mph depending what gear you are in. This puts less strain on your brake pads and your clutch bearing.
I passed the G2 test with only 11 hours of training.. Nothing is Impossible if you are confident and have absolute belief in yourself!
Feels so good to pass! Only shame is my insurance is no longer valid so I won't be driving anymore. Just hoping Brandon passes now
