Nice video, only one thing is bothering me. You didn't even mention the second mesn oil filter on the right side of the engine, under the clutch cover. You have to take the cover off and then you can pull it out and clean it.
Hello, I know this is 4 years later, but I have the same bike, and noticed today in the manual the filter you are mentioning. My bike has 7000km, should I clean that filter? Also do I need to order a new gasket first for the cover? Thank you
@@DG-mi2mc Yes. You need a new gasket. You may try to use again the old one with a little bit of silicone paste. The filter is iron. You do not have to change, just clean it.
Thanks for the vid. I just did my first oil change on my SM610 since I was unsure of when the previous owner did the last. The oil that came out looked fairly new so that was a relief. Now when I removed the metal screens I placed it in some kerosene to give it a clean and noticed there looked to be 3/4 left of what once was a small washer floating in it. Is there meant to be a washer inside the screen cavity somewhere? Thanks
