I installed a stereo system and speakers on my scooter and they sound great! This is not an install video, but I do basically show how it is installed.

the crackling is because of the wires being close to each other when you increase power there is a field of electricity around the wire and the amp is picking it up

Do you need a kill switch or no? Will it drain my battery without it ?

I would definitely install a killswitch. Unless you wire it through the ignition and have it turn off with a key, it will drain your battery.

I'm kinda interested to do this. We almost have the same scooter but mine is a Kymco Dink aka Spacer/yaeger in american and European market. Question is, can the speakers get wet?

Yes they can. They are Marine speakers that are designed to get wet. I figured I would get caught in the rain, so I went with these.
