Kudos to the Dreadbox team- I could not update my Typhon because my ancient Mac was one OS shy of being able to run the updater. I put in a ‘help!’ request, and Yiannis directed me to the beta of v3.1.2, which allows the updater to run on MacOS 10.6, rather than needing 10.14. Customer service at its very best- and analogue synthesis at its finest too
All of these presets are very rave and techno which is dope. As some points the synths remind me started to remind me of classic 303 bass especially the silver and dancity presets. Seems to be a cool synth def having a look at this synth
Nice to see the continuing progress, towards USB Midi I hope. The digi envelopes do not suit 303 style lines but bring their own charm. A quasimidi for the 2020s!
Did you create these presets? If so, any chance you could do another release of say 15-30 or so new ones? Can't have enough Dreadbox presets. :) Perhaps some more basses & leads? Best
Download the midi template for both (which auto maps key functions to the tracks various controls) on the circuit tracks and input their audio into the tracks so you can sidechain and you have a really powerful setup that lets you automate a ton just by twiddling knobs.
I'm enjoying the new presets. Where can I get a Dreadbox sweatband from! also, your Typhon sliders have red bits, do they light up? my Typhon only has white which do not light.
The sweatband was only available a couple years ago we believe. The first batch of Typhons had these sliders with LEDs but they were not used, so the later models ditched them.
Yeap. Many monosynths but no better value than this one.
After a decade of owning around 15-20 synths this is my favourite. So much fun and instantly engaging. The digi mod/fx section is genius.

I can literally play with 'Rave' all night, I have this hooked up to my TR8S and its like an hour long techno set sometimes! Amazing sounds!
