I enjoy watching your tutorials. It is so nice to see that you enjoy making projects and it shows as you do them. Thanks for the wonderful and fun way that you teach.
My sons will love this! My younger son and I made his (mummy) halloween costume in a similar style last year, and tacking the strips in strategic places is a must for the design to hold! This looks like a fun sewing project for my boys! Thanks for showing them that boys can like to sew too!
I made this with my grandson; two were pillows and the third I kept flat and used Steam a Seam 2 to hold the bandages in the front (just small pieces) to keep them from sagging. I added tabs, before I flipped the project right side out, on the top so I could hang it on the fridge. it looks great. since my grandson was young I just used felt for eyes. he loves it so much he sleeps with his every night. thank you for this great idea. my grandson and I made wonderful memories. ps... we made our own pillows.
Don't forget the instructions on how to create the cute Mummy featured in this video comes in the "I Love My Mummy" pattern along with the instructions for the larger pillow as well. Just click the link in the description!!
You can also use KamSnaps or Safety Eyes. That's what I use for my 2yo daughter. She still puts everything in her mouth so these are safer than buttons. Just a thought. Super cute project!!!
Hi Rob! Question: What do you do with the sample unfinished projects as well as the finish projects that you done keep/sell/gift? Thx! I just started teaching myself how to quilt... I enjoy Man Sewing and Jenny from MSQ's channel!
You do know I meant the pillow and not Rob? Don't get me wrong. Rob is a very good looking man, but he is married and out of respect to his wife I keep my thoughts on her husbands looks to myself.
OMG OMG OMG this is a must😀 Cood you show us how to do a ZOMBIE too! Please.!! Ooo a zombie Pokemon! My son(11) has autism and he loves all things zombie and all thing Pokemon. I love Monday mornings!!!!! (I get to wake up to a new tute from you rob)😃
So cute! I heard about you from Jenny's MSQ catalog, and thought you might appeal to my 12 yr old boy-child. You have the same energy as the MineCraft videos he watches. So I'm really hoping that he'll start watching your videos and fewer MineCraft videos. This pillow is right up his alley, and something he can finish quickly. So we're going to each make working together this morning. c

So glad you made this pillow with your grandson Beth, and even better that he likes it! Keep up the great work! :)
I could see using my serger for connecting the front to back panels to avoid the thread unraveling on the inside. What a fun Halloween novelty accent.
