Nice work, my daughter got me a Companion Eco bin for Xmas. It works a treat and folds down to not much. Just got back from Rocklands Resi and no mozzies.
@@PerpetualTransient nah it was just after the busy time there. Was very busy over Xmas n new years. Was great to see a lot of water in there again. Would be good for little dingy.
Great idea using a jerry can for the slim shape. I did something very similar for my camper but with an old 20L ag-chem drum (square, so lower profile). Thanks for sharing.
Any thoughts on a drain hole? As I feel it might collect a little water from time to time.. also I'd nearly consider flipping the ubolts as I'd be concerned they may tear the garbage bag ... other wise great idea .. and something I'd consider for my camper.
Yep already corrected all that. Drain hole ✅, bit of rubber in the base to cover bolts (i didn’t want the bolts hanging down at the back on the bumper) ✅ , cut the hinge bolts off too
It's going to confuse the fuel thieves eh , how did the first runs in the van go , looked good from the videos , any thing you reckon needs changing ? 🤙
I actually talked about that in the vid and then edited it out because i was drawling on! The rubbish bin comes off in a few seconds so can add the other wheel. I’ll only use 2nd spare when I’m going remote i reckon. Still a bit dubious on how strong my bumper is with two on corrugations though. Have a remote red centre trip planned in June so guess I’ll have to figure it out by then.

Still things to finish. Doing a big trip up north soon, see how it goes in some heat!
