@@Alexanderortiz99 you've been trolling through multiple comments with this shit and I reckon you're just envious of the attention. Why else would your new hobby be shitting on a popular creator?
This is the first time in a while I've seen a Sega styled-Indie darling. With the Nintendo-styled things you got your Shovel Knights, your Undertales, and your all around nice and warm games. With the Sega Styled-things you got stuff that certainly looks ok. I'm sure this won't be buried under the hundreds of other indie platformers out there that died on a hill no one wanted.
Initially thought this would be a wrestling platform game, so I was disappointed at first. Then I saw you could throw enemies around and now I'm sold. Shame there's no izuna drop though
Can't spell "Game made for Woolie" without "Good" Tho I'm lowkey disappointed this isn't a crazy beat-em-up where the only move is grabs and throws This being said, I am *certain* that this game is being made _as I speak_
I'm pretty sure Liam said that he and Woolie will do a stream or something when fp 2 comes out so just follow them on social media and when the video comes out we can pretend it's a best friends video
Wait, an indie game that's a 2D pixel platformer? Groundbreaking! This will surely be one for the ages! . . . . . [feel like I've made this joke way back on some other vid...eh.]
Finally, a game for fans of darker-skinned short-fringe-wearing anime girls who kick ass. Now I won't have to keep maining Makoto in 3rd Strike to let the world know what I like!
Oh, nevermind, THIS is the incredibly basic and unremarkable game that Woolie and Matt are going to get completely, unreasonably excited over that I was expecting Gigabuster to be.
Game: Hey, this game is REALLY simple, so you could at least make it fun for the viewers by like... Speeding up a little, maybe? Here's a C-Rank to hopefully encourage you to pick up the pace...? Woolie: [12 minutes of tripping over his shoelaces] Game: ... D-Rank.
What's the point of making a "classic" style game if you are just going to allow people to skip over most of the levels? I know its for the sake of "accesability", but even then, don't you think a skip level button is a little excessive?
To be fair, even Mario games had warp rooms that let you just skip ahead. Granted, they were hidden so it wasn't like everybody knew about them right away, unlike the option in this game.
Ya ever hear the term "dominant strategy" in video games? I feel that could easily apply to a menu option. However, it is a tricky balance between getting your audience to feel the game is too easy (Dominant strategy) or too hard (No difficulty select)
One does not writea book and intend for the audience to read only the last chapter. One does not make a movie and intend for the viewer to only watch the last ten minutes. Some conventions may be archiac, but there are other conventions which are staples in making a good video game.
“Yo Woolie have you watched this cool video?”
“No.”
“I haven’t watched it either.”
This is the highest peak of Matt
"That village looks awfully... Flammable."
Woolie, seconds away from becoming the RPG villain he is destined to be.
"Ah, what a pleasant little village. So calm. So cheerful. So... Flammable..."
please tell me that's an actual quote from something besides Woolie.
@@Ghost_of_Avalon I don't think so. I kind of just made it up on the spot in response to Woolie's dialogue.
@@GoldLight73 It's a pretty good quip then, I can really see a boss from this game saying something like that.
I'm impressed with how many different animations they have for combinations of tethering and walking in various directions.
The sprite is probably split into several pieces so that they don't have to make a new one for each combination!
YOOOO MY BROTHER MADE THIS THANKS FOR PLAYING IT
Can you thank your brother for me?
And tell him to release on GOG ! With the soundtrack !
He hiring?
@@dracomundo1498 You'd have to ask GalaxyTrail on that one since they handled publishing
Wow amazing!
Yup, we in a new "Games for Woolie" filler arc bois!

"Woolie can will games into being" is one of the strangest and strongest new bits of lore this channel has.

@@Alexanderortiz99 Who hurt you?
I just can't wait for Woolie to ascend to his final form when he snatches the controller away from Pat mid way through DMCV.
This is the perfect video to have on while I polish my one of a kind Eggplant Statue.
What about your katana?
Buddy i may have some bad news for you...
In my realm the eggplant emoji means something lol....male lol
THAT'S A WOOLIE
Guess it is Woolie Game Jam week.
Yo, for real, why haven't they done their own game jam yet
In Matt's head, all girls sound like valley girls.
>Clicks on video
>YM2612 Samples Blast my ears
>Immediately Rock Hard
I had to take a double take at the title because I could of sworn the title said Grope Force Rena
That's just what you WANTED it to say
I've seen gameplay of this game and I keep getting Mischief Makers vibes.
EDIT: Marina Liteyears for smash DLC
Marina best girl always and forever.
Shake shake shake!
Yeah, Mischief Makers with the Bionic Commando grappling hook
I got Umihara Kawase vibes from the smooth grappling.
@@MissAshley42 Funny I was thinking the of that seeing this too.
If I can grapple eggplants, I can grapple Hollow Knights.
I wish they came back
That level 2 theme is jammin'!
Oh, I played this at PAX South this year! It's pretty rad.
Rena's friends take fall damage.
28:43 That's a Wario Land-guy!
Great job on the title screen Billy!
Okay that sequence where that Hollow Knight was too busy being grappled to die was _pretty cool._
"Why! Won't! You! Let! Me! Die?!"
A female protagonist with short hair. Gee, I wonder who's gonna play this game.
Also her entire gameplay pivots around Snatch/Grim Grip

As long as Matt isn't playing it's all fine.
@Valkenhyne Did he get blocked? I keep seeing people response to him but none of his comments.

Once I saw a woman pushing her dead baby in a swing.

@@furyberserk No, it was actually Woolie, like 3 years ago
It's Like Mischief Makers.
Good comparison to be drawn.
Very Sonic-esque music, I love it! 😍
Didn't expect the Mischief Makers in there. The way you can toss technically dead enemies over and over again is straight out of that game, too.
Liam's commentary as always is priceless.
Dude.. Liam left the channel almost two years ago
You can postpone Sonic Unleashed and Dante's Inferno all you want but you'll never escape.
@Cool Blast
Dante from Dantes Inferno for SMASH
Your dedication will be rewarded someday.
Points for perseverance I guess.
They escaped so hard...
This is the final
I thought this "grappling" was like a short haired girl doing sick piledrivers but only to find that Rena has "dead wife arm" abilities
i am 0 seconds in and i can already tell woolie's in this LP
KeroKaminaX It's a one-off indie quick look. Of course it's Woolie and Matt.
Not the kind of grappling I expected. But, it was the grappling I deserved.
If you are going to mention Mischief Makers, when's Treasure week?
You guys should do a video on Mischief Makers on the N64.
MATT THE REAL MVP NAMEDROPPING MISCHIEF MAKERS
Stop mentioning Mischief Makers unless you're planning on playing it, scrubs.
I'd be all over a Mischief Makers LP. It's one of the pillars of my nostalgia.
Man people need to stop picking on Woolie already, jesus.
WOOLIE SUFFERS FOR OUR SINS! (also for being a pie thief)

I'm looking forward to seeing speedruns of this.

Wow, a big ol' statue of yours truly? how wonderful
These Woolie's Brain exclusives are getting heavy.
Oh sweet LORD, A spiritual cousin to MISCHIEF MAKERS!? SOLD!
Well, I guess I'll put this one in my cart as well.
Woolie would play an EGG if it had an Grapple Beam....
Woolies love for Naruto/Baruto inspired this filler arc.
This has some klonoa feeling on it, the game that no one remembers, only my mom
