I am removing 1920's sheet linoleum. The backing is black tarpaper and is firmly stuck to the maple formerly finished floor. Is that what you were removing in this video?
My mom put linoleum over a hardwood floor. I tested to see what would remove the black looking adhesive. I think it was vinegar I tested on it. Then you just wipe it up after vinegar disolved it. We decided to leave the linoleum as it made a good water barrier and put carpet over it. Now when the carpet is cleaned the wood underneath is protected until someday that we rip it up and refinish the wood floor. Test different products on the adhesive. Start with simple things. Vinegar. Awesome from Dollar Tree. Etc.
Is there a part 2 for this floor?
Hi Susan. There are no further videos planned for this magnificent floor
