This is the best product demo I've ever seen. The windows are dramatically cleaner and look smooth and ready to sandy and finish / paint. The key selling points and where to buy the product are repeated in the bottom subtitles, and the best salesperson is the knowledgeable, articulate gentleman who clearly knows his product and cares about beautiful windows. Putting the instructions on a poster right next to work area is genius.
Hello Paul Pham. Thanks for your kind words, we are always trying to ensure that the information in our videos is easy to understand and useful to all skill levels.
This was a fantastic product demo - we are renovating our 1950's house with big casement windows in the lounge room that are desperate for a paint! I've received a Coopers Kit and feel confident to use it now - cheers mate👍
Please open the windows and get all th nooks and crannies😊 i love this and look forward to this. I just painted windows using another stripper, scrapers, sandind and it was pretty messy. I want to try this cuz ive got many more windows to do😊
Hi, so for the delay in responding :( Normally i would remove the sashes and strip all the different surfaces as you suggest, in this case time was very limited & the owner was going to be removing them some lead lighting she was going to be doing to them As for sanding, providing there isn't any damage that needs to be repaired, there isn't any sanding in the Cooper's system of stripping as we are re-using the sanding that already there Cheers, have a great day :)
Hi there, thanks for your most useful videos - I`ve been asked to quote to repaint the sash windows in the flat I rent in the UK. There are 6 off them, 3 ground floor and 3 first floor - the landlord has asked me to use a blowtorch but that`s an issue when on a ladder!! So would paint stripper be best? He`s also said it should take between 5 to 6 hours per sash to prep, prime, undercoat x 2 and top coat - is that realistic? Thanks is advance! Aidan & Zakaria.
Hello Aidan & Zakaria, thanks for asking. Please email us some pictures of your windows and we'll be more than happy to give you advice adapted to your project. You can reach us here. enquiries@coopersstripclub.com
Hi heatherobrien7782, the old or cracked window putty will need to be removed and replaced with fresh putty. It is extremely important you re-putty after stripping the paint because new putty will be dissolved in the same way as paint. however window putty that has had time to completely cure and harden will not need special attention or protection

Hi rebekahs8964. There were multiple types of paint on this window, including lead-based paint on the bottom layer. Traditionally a mask is needed if you are producing lead dust by grinding away with a sander or releasing lead vapours with a heat gun. Our method of lead removal is safe because the paint comes off as a wet paste and is easily contained for disposal without producing lead vapour or dust
