Johnny's acting is something so far from the depths of soul. His visions just come to life and are explosive in emotional feelings for all who is blessed enough to get to see his work. It was not that I didn't like him, I just don't follow movie stars. However, I do follow Keanu Reeves here and there, but not because of his movies or his acting ability (I can't handle violence), but because I believe he is a good person. Now the same is with Johnny Depp, except his acting abilities and skills are far more advanced than anyone of our time. He is the male younger version of Judy Densch. I was stuck home bored on medical leave from a wicked fall down my stairs and watched the entire trial. Basically, because the word narcissism popped up and as a narcissistic abuse survivor it interested me. I watched the entire trial and literally cried for him. I watched a couple of his movies since his trial - how did I not know what phenomenal actor he is?! More than anything I am a fan of Johnny Depp as a person. My heart literally hurt for him. I was glyed to the trial because I so badly felt his pain and suffering and wanted him yo win. To see him smile now makes me tear up in happiness for I know the courage it took for him to heal from his abuses (childhood and adulthood), let alone to go public with his personal life. I might just get a ticket to one of his concerts to see him... just to see him smile, just to watch him in his element - just "being." I think it's been a process of life's experiences for Mr Depp to be able to emulate a part of that growth as a human being onto the screen. He puts his heart and soul into the roles he plays as close to the truth as possible.
Hehe, I was a teen during 21 Jump Street, but that was the only 'heart throb' show/movie I was ever remotely interested in, and I was fascinated with watching Johnny for some reason I couldn't define, even though I have never liked main stream stuff generally or since - main stream movies rarely speak to me. 21 Jump Street definitely wasn't my kind of viewing, but I saw something (so much behind those eyes) a fascination that I couldn't understand back then, even though the show and the character he was playing was kind of...bland, he made something of that bland character regardless, which I saw, and I've watched every movie I saw come out with him with the same fascination ever since. I now think I simply saw an amazing talent and honestly that was incredibly rare. An amazing actor. I can't wait to see this one too, and I hope to see many more. There are a lot of wonderful actors to admire, some of rare ones who can also play an incredibly wide range of characters like he can, but I don't think there is another actor anywhere who can act so soulfully or honestly or emotionally simply with their eyes.

It would be awesome if a camera & a journalist could follow him on that journey - the process of developing the character & turn it into a documentary because I dont know of any other actor that is so unbelievably diverse as JD is.
The process is not just in the actual moments of creating the character. JD already had life experiences that caused him to be an extreme empath. Being extreme empath is not something that can be taught, and all of experiences that made him that way and what goes on in his head can't be documented... too abstract and not just simply in that particular moment of character defining.
