There are plans, on paper already, to do alot of these kinds of dams all around the country. We are only limited by the budget, to execute all of them at one go.

A very educative documentary. Consider doing the same for other megaprojects. One would particularly enjoy the entire journey of the project, from inauguration to construction to commissioning and finally the impact on community.

Quite hard to notice the Dam itself clearly as the drone camera hardly captured the same. Recommends use of ARROWS/POINTERS, CIRCLES on the point of interest in future videos (eg 1st , 2nd layers etc as described by the engineer)
Which dam are you looking for? The dam is usually the wall. And if you can't see that huge wall then I don't know how we can help you.
The explanation is very clear. The pictures is even clearer.
Everything is straight forward you're just not willing to watch the video all the way to the end. The production is really top notch too idk why you're confused

@@MrMaboboz Because as a country we don't have a budget to execute all the planned projects at one go. However, the current regime has tried to balance the infrastructure projects with the available budget/funds.

I agree with you about the environmental impacts that we might not even fully understand now, actually some countries are knocking down dams built decades ago. But we have a bigger threats than the immediate area flora and fauna, Global Warming.
Kenya needs to make more electricity so that it's cheaper, so that we as a nation stop using charcoal and trees as firewood, or using imported oil to produce electricity. Those are the worst for environment than any dam Kenya builds can ever be.

@@t0n0k0 not all dams produce electricity which are mostly considered dangerous to the environment. You can Google to check out different types of dams
This is an embarkment dam which is meant to hold the flood water not a buttress or arch type of dam
You can build all the dams but if Kenyans does not check on soil erosion they will soon silt and it will all come nothing sooner than we think.
