- Hello dear friends! I am back to share another exquisite creation from our dear friend and master journal maker, Angie! She put this lovely package together for me as a gift for mine and darling hubbies 29th anniversary. Isn't she the absolute sweetest? I sure think so. She has included so many lovely treasures in this parcel. I am once again, in awe of her generosity! I hope you all enjoy the walk through.

Oh Denise this is such a beautiful happy mail from Angie and I am wishing you and your dh belated anniversary wishes. My husband and I are ging to be 40 years in December !! Where does the time go !! I’m always so excited when Sweet Denice posts an Angie video.
I have to tell you that , since having a large lake in my backyard there is not much room for a garden so I grow what I can in pretty pots. We have had a horribly dry & hot summer.. So I’ve gone to our local florist told her all about you & how you were such an inspiration for thousands - she was delighted to gift me as many flowers she would have otherwise tossed in the bin. I have created several flower presses and even created 2 flower press “journals” I take on walks with me. Take a snapshot of what some consider weeds pick and place inside my “journal press “ date and location as to where it was found . I just opened up one that was full to the brim and oh my goodness!! Success!! Perfect wonderful colors of nature as though they were still on the trail they were picked from!!

Sweet Denise, again, dear friend , please do not forget that although your heart may be broken for missing”baby journal” ( as I can only imagine how much it means to have something so special & precious go missing not knowing it’s whereabouts. I’m so hoping that someone found her and is living in a very good home like yours. As I know that is your most troubling issue. That she is just lost by herself in a bin someplace waiting to be claimed.
You have to believe she is safe. Angie is not going to be upset because she worked so hard but, rather the tiny matching bling on “baby” is also missing knowing how very much you love your bling!!
Each and every page in the larger journal is priceless. I take screenshots and add them to my “mood boards” b 4 starting a journal - gather my items making sure I’ve not run out of A Tattered Dream items and reorder what I just can’t live without!!
Always always take as much time as necessary to showcase each and every piece down to the tiniest of pins - everything You create Angie is a masterpiece.
If anyone does not know by this video how very special this friendship is how priceless each item means to both Angie and Denise than you need to re watch - and really listen to the grieving of Denise’s heart 💜

Congrats on your Anniversary. What a gorgeous gift from Angie. Her work is stunning and so inspirational. So sorry that your little baby journal went missing. I believe that if the post office had to repackage the package that they usually put some sort of sticker on it that they repackaged due to damage. You should also be able to tell if you package was officially inspected by looking up the tracking history online as it will be listed as one of the steps in the tracking history saying it was being held for inspection. I had this happen once when it was stopped in customs. Packages are scanned by the US post office and usually not opened unless the post office suspects something and again if they did this it would show up in the tracking history if it was officially opened. If it wasn't documented in the tracking history then it wasn't official and was tampered with somewhere along the way.
Angies work is such a delight, so much work and beautiful vintage ephemera. Congratulations on your 29th anniversary as well Denise. ❤

Beautiful! So sad about the mini journal. Especially since this is such a niche hobby, whoever finds it may not even appreciate it for what it is. 😞 I have a hard time finding papers where I am too, I get mine from Instagram shopping, there are some great shops out there! Love the slow stitching, I don't have a sewing machine myself so I love to do that as well.

How do I find Angie’s Etsy ?
Did your package come through customs? (she located?). I've had things removed from packages before, randomly..a couple of times. In the other online community I hang out in (lots of packages coming through customs) things go missing. I assume employees that need to be fired.
First of all my mind wants to believe that the baby journal inadvertently was left from the box during some sort of inspection and someone somewhere in the UPS system has this precious item and is just sick that it wasn’t replaced. Each parcel is tracked, every step of the way, so, there is a chance it could be located. Please have Angie file a claim. Accidents do happen and (having spent over 30 years in that industry) I want to believe that there is an agent somewhere that is just sick that this item didn’t make it back into the box.
So, please investigate. Most employees in this industry are very honest.
