Really great tool. One could extend it even more by locking the hammering, and mounting rollers, to basically also replace the English wheel. With proper dies it already replaces planishing hammer, scretcher and shrinker, which usually are 3 different machines. It can replace to some extent bead roller for making beads and flanges. So 4 machines. And with some work it can replace even to some extent a bending press, ring rollers, and sheed metal roller. (There are benefits to having separate simple tools, but these one is electrically powered so is really easy to use. The main benefit of having separate machines is that actually many of them are cheap, especially if manually operated, and it saves a lot of time to have them always ready to be used, compared to constantly replacing dies and tools in this machine). The capabilities of the biggest machine are awesome. It can do shrinking and stretching of up to 16 mm profiles. Amazing. As a hobbiest with limited space and not that much work done, and mostly done for fun, not for speed. I would prefer to invest in this one big machine than into 4-5 different machines that takes a lot space. Not only it is better (beyond price and wasted time changing tools in it), but it makes work more consistent and dimensionally accurate.
It's easy to tell who the real workers are and the guys from the office are, They workers are the guys with the dirty coveralls , and the office guys are the one's wearing brand new coveralls, wearing the white shirt and tie and shiny shoes. Any excuse to get out of the office and take credit for work they will never perform :-) .
Forklift tire pressure gauge. We even had some random contraption with a tag saying forklift tire gauge. It didnt do shit but was funny to watch people try and figure it out. Or send them out in the rain looking for the basement door to turn the sump pump on so it doesnt flood.
I'm using a Eckold Kraftformer in my shop to build custom cars from scratch and the Eckold machine works perfect for me.
I've seen a lot of sheet forming tools advertised, and this looks like the most versatile one I've seen yet.
very great engineering equipment. that push and pulling thing nailed it.
