Their discography is just so good... You would love pinky star and puzzle moon a lot!! (mvs)
PUZZLE MOON*
@@groo_evo4927 ah thanks for correcting me lol, I can't type
yet so underrated😔
The magic happens in the b-sides. They got some amazing Jazzy and R'n'B tracks. I knew you wouldn't fully enjoy their title tracks but as I said, it's the b-sides that do it for me with this group. Thanks for reacting!
ooh... love their b-sides
Same, their b-sides are on another level. It's just sad that not a lot of people know about those songs. They're totally missing out so much in life. Lol
Wonderboy The Aerialist is a must !!! pleaseee
Omg pls the whole album is bop only😭😭💝
ICONIC LEGENDARIC
ooh... yesss
Gotta tell you one thing:
*GWSN don't have bad songs.*
Most of them are club bangers.
Sometimes the great ones reside not in the main singles
but in the B-sides.
the true treasures in their discography are their bsides imo, they're amazing, they honestly have 0 skips in their discography
HEY SAMEEEE.. GWSN is the only group that doesn't have ANY BAD SONG
@@lpsromy7146 bold assumption
Their first three releases Puzzle Moon, Pinky Star, and Red Sun were actually a trilogy! If you ever wanted to listen to the first two the connection between them all is really clear
Puzzle Moon and Pinky Star MVs for sure (Wonderboy the aerialist studio choom performance music video too but only if you have time to sneak it in, you will not be disappointed and will be absolutely blown away by it) (gwsn's bsides are definitely where its at) THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REACTING TO MY BABIES
i’m not a stan of gwsn but i accidentally came across a b-side track from the ep that bazooka is from and i loved it sm, i had to check out the entire ep and it was definitely one of the best mini albums i’ve heard personally from last year so if you check them out more, i think i defo will too!!
also gwsn have literally some of the best song titles i’ve ever seen, they’re literally so creative with the names of songs
fifi i think you will really like their other two mvs puzzle moon and pinky star
Their debut (puzzle moon) and their first comeback (pinky star) are their best two🙌 they also have a bside they promoted called wonderboy you would like
You HAVE to react to pinky star it’s their best title track and is such a unique song
Yes!! Pinky Star is such a bop :D
You need to stan themmmm, Miya is my bias
one of my favorite groups! they deserve more love!
You can call them Girls In The Park.
i really like gwsn's music so much!!! their songs are almost always in the deep house genre but even if that's the case, each song feels so different. they manage be consistent but at the same be diverse in their songs
Imo pinky star and puzzle moon are their best songs
I believe GWSN stands for girls in the park
So it begins!!!!!! ahhhhh I simply can't wait for her to listen to gwsn albums. Been waiting for this for so long Gwsn albums and OOO's libido album are the two things I'm just dying for her to listen to
My fav is Night of Aviation. It's just immaculate 🔥
a little context/background into gwsn (in case it hasn't already been said): gwsn (a.k.a girls in the park) are from a tiny company called kiwi media group. their music subsidiary, kiwi pop, produced gwsn's first 3 mini albums but then the company went silent. as a result of money issues, kiwi pop was dissolved and the girls were moved to a different subsidiary company, miles entertainment (the one with the sus MILFS looking logo intro) and miles produced bazooka/the keys mini album with a much MUCH smaller budget (most obvious in the shift in musicality and the lack of visual effects in the mv compared to previous releases). after that mini album the label went dark AGAIN. miles was also dissolved and the girls then got moved to the wave entertainment, another subsidiary of kiwi media. so in the very short span of about 2 and a half years they've had 3 different labels. still, these girls are very resilient and i hope they grow successfully and enjoy a fruitful career!
as many have said, their discography is stacked with great b-sides and you can find a performance version of wonderboy (the aerialist) as well as choreography videos for earlier b-side tracks. i haven't noticed anyone say it in the comments, but gwsn also has 2 foreign members: miya (japanese) is the short haired rapper/singer. she doesn't get a lot of lines, usually just the adlibs, so i think she's still learning her craft and finding her flow. soso (taiwan) is absent from the bazooka mv because she was recovering from an injury. she also doesn't get a lot of lines and is usually stuck with the adlibs. even though you didn't love their title tracks i'm grateful that you still gave them a listen and hope you try them again in the future :)
Bazooka was and forever will be my jam haha
Legit was on repeat constantly when it came out. It’s so freakin vibey and catchy!
definitely react to puzzle moon and pinky star !!!
YAY! One of my favourite small groups! Thanks so much for checking them out! So many great b-sides as already said. Honestly just play from the artist page on Spotify and enjoy!
Fr tho
WJSN & GWSN - BOTH HAVE REALLY GOOD B-SIDES
ah yes gwsn, this group has one of the best discographies in kpop for me u should definetly know more about them
I felt that way with BAZOOKA! It reminded me of UK music as well. And Fifi don't worry about the hedge trimmer! We still enjoy your reactions!!
puzzle moon is a must listen!!
YASSS GWSN'S TITLE TRACKS ARE SO GOOD THAT'S WHY THEY'RE ONE OF MY ULT GROUPS. LISTEN TO THEIR DISCOGRAPHY IT WILL NOT DISSAPOINT
AHHH THOSE ARE MY GIRLIES YEP YEP
You gotta need to react to their pinky star and puzzle moon too!!^^ and also their bsides.highly recommended for The interpretation of dreams and tweaks this is one of the best bsides that i ever heard on their whole albums but i love all their songs tho.👏👏💖
THANKS YOU SO MUCH FOR REACTION
Might as well say it: listen to Wonderboy The Aerialist!! This is what got me into listening to GWSN. Killer B-Side. 🐍
I WAS SERVED WITH FULL BOPS WITH THEIR ALBUM TODAY! All the tracks are so good! What a great comeback after more than a year of waiting ♥
You have to listen to their discography is so good. I would personally recomend Puzzle moon, Melting point, The interpretation of dreams and Bloom
I would add Boom (True Light), and After The Bloom)
I’m glad you reacted to them!! I personally really like their b sides a lot! My favorite albums are “The Keys” which is the album for Bazooka and “the park in the night pt. 3” which is the album for Red Sun
I miss them a lot.....
Wanted to revisit your first GWSN reaction. I’m amused that the hedge cutting started RIGHT as Bazooka ended. xD
My favorite title tracks are Puzzle Moon and Pinky Star, but like others have mentioned their b-sides are really good.
i’m so glad you reacted to my ults omgggg
After Puzzle Moon, I followed also Pinky Star and Red Sun. As for title tracks, only those 3 could catch me.
Personally I wasn't a major fan of Like It Hot but Red Sun will always slap for me HAHHAHA their other two songs 'Pinky Star' and 'Puzzle Moon' I think you'll like even more, and they're also very house influenced aha. Also I gotta warn you, their rapping is similar in pinky star and puzzle moon.
I think you have to be conquered first by Puzzle Moon and Pinky Star to fully aprecciate GWSN hahahauaha
It's crazy how the songs after this just grow in you
I love Red Sun and Bazooka and I'm pretty sure that Like it Hot will grow too
as everyone here already said, you really gotta check out Puzzle Moon (their debut song) and Pinky Star (their first comeback, my favourite title track by them)! 💕 also, their albums (5) have NO skips, every single track is incredible! 🥰
gwsn is one of my absolute favorite groups. and while bazooka is one of my favorite title tracks, their title tracks usually aren’t to my liking. gwsn is definitely the kind of group that i’m sure everyone recommended it to you bc their b sides you would absolutely love! theyre so so so on another level. specifically the keys ep and the park in the night part 2 and part 3
you HAVE to check out night aviation. it’s a bside and i know you don’t usually do bsides but its quite literally one of the best kpop songs ever. i KNOW that you’d love it i mean I KNOW IT. PLEASE😭😭😭
Puzzle Moon & Pinky Star are their BEST TITLE TRACKS ;-; pwease check em out bestie!! ~
For title track, "Puzzle Moon" and "Pinky Star" is my favourite title track from them. And their b side "Night Aviation" is my favourite b side. You should check it out.
LUV IT! PLS REACT TO THEIR NEWEST ALBUM! the bsides are all good i promise!!
i dont really stan them but their song night aviation is sooo good
you should react to puzzle moon and pinky star (pinky star is my personal fav) I think you’d really like those :)
gwsn bsides will take u to another dimension
YESSS GET INTO IITT
As majority of the comments here have said. I really hope you listen to the b sides. It’s just something about GWSN b sides that do it if the title tracks aren’t hitting. The Park In The Night series do have a fair amount of the same genre but I still think it sounds good. After that the b sides in the other albums have a different genre. And the rapper with short hair at first didn’t really have a flow in rapping because she lacked being fluent in Korean, but she’s gotten better. I also keep coming back to watching this reaction I have no clue why.
You can call them "GIRLs IN THE PARK"
I miss their Kiwi Pop intro 😭😂😂
I dont know much about them but bazooka Is my jam
Tbh I think all? Kpop groups needs a rapper and "its" necessary to have a rapper.. I feel like it's TRUE that sometimes most of them are just forced into rapping.
Miya grew up in Japan and just got accepted by a Korean company so I think she's still learning to be more fluent in her Korean especially since she's the rapper
I disagree~ I grew up listening to rap and hip hop and take it pretty seriously and would rather not have it constantly forced on songs and on idols who may not have a passion for it. Not every single song needs a rap verse in my opinion :)
@@fifizappareacts that's one of the problems of kpop companies they force most idols to rap and that's what I'm trying to say
@@mtdjasya127 ohh right I thought you were saying it should be forced into every song from the way you worded first paragraph! But yeah I agree on that! But I don’t think the idols do a bad job either, I think they do the best they can with the verse that’s given to them ~
lol i always think it's gonna say milfs too 😂 they only have two more mvs which are puzzle moon and pinky star! when you get the chance i highly recommend their mini album the Keys it's just 3 songs after bazooka and they're all sooooo good (their b-sides tend to be a bit more jazzy than the title tracks)
OH MY GOD YAYYY
yo and their b-sides slap, hopefully you'll check them out. Awesome reaction tho!
Better to check some of their b-sides
Start with the Special clip for "Aerialist, Wonderboy" (yes, this is 1 song)
For me it's still Pinky Star and Puzzle Moon all day.
I didn’t realised you were gonna to react to them this week skskskskss I was busy looking for Loona in your weekly schedule lol
fifi pls listen the b-side track title "e i e i o" its soso good!!
I bet you’ll enjoy 95% of their b-sides, if not all of them.
Toooootally understandable about not completely digging the rapping. There was one comment you made, “They’re so quirky!” THAT is spot on. And that is how I more or less ‘hear’ their rapping. They’re fresh/poppy and the rapping is therefor acceptable to my ears. And as you said, they have interesting tones, so at least it isn’t dull, you know? unnecessary but quirky rap > a dull AND unnecessary rap
I have no doubt it annoys you, but I will say - whenever you point out background sounds, I never catch them until you mention it. The one in this video was certainly more obvious but only when quiet.
Going forward, don’t worry about us! Your setup works out the kinks somehow. But if you can’t stand it - do whatever you prefer! You should always enjoy your time making these. :)
P.S. I feel like you may be the only kpop reactor that has some knowledge of disco/house/etc. Even if your knowledge isn’t immense, think you’d be up for making one or two videos with favorites & suggestions?
[If I had the time, I’d be making a similar video related to 90s-early 00s rNb/pop. It is an itch I cannot scratch. Same goes for editing movie-like trailers, combining kpop videos and movies. I have too many ideas in my head...]
I knew you'd like Miya (the rapper), she's so effortlessly cool..
Like her so much I had to goggle her 😅
@@fifizappareacts Miya stated when she was joining the group that she wasn't super comfortable in things like skirts and other traditionally feminine clothing. If you watch most of these MVs again you can notice that she's normally the only one wearing pants in the group and I think it's awesome their company(s) have allowed her to be comfortable with her appearance.
I really want to know what your thoughts on 575 - perfume tho the only rap/fast spoken track they have
Any relation to Frank kappa😂👍
I always feel their sound has some... J-pop influence? Can't pinpoint it.
listed to puzzle moon please
girl if you have to push of youtube for work its okay!!! 😭 dont be late for work
Fuck work
@@fifizappareacts HELP ?_+#)#(
@@fifizappareacts This I feel in my soul
😎😎😎😎😎
I think they go by go won so nyeo
gwsn bsides >>>> gwsn title tracks.
you gotta listen to wonderboy, miss ping pong, tweaks, bloom
OMG YESSS
I'm with you in this one. GWSN songs don't need rap verses :((
Also, to be honest, I'm kinda underwhelmed by "Like it hot." Idk exactly why, but I felt the chorus pretty bland in terms of funk bass, and also there's like a disconnect between the chorus and the hook part that followed it IMO. I'm gonna see how the song fares long term though. Maybe it'll grow on me, maybe not.
I'm kinda sad that GWSN deviated from their "deep house" sound since debut and up to their 3rd comeback, which was "Red Sun." When they debuted with "Puzzle Moon", their sound was pretty unique in the kpop landscape that time because deep house was rare. And then they followed it up with "Pinky Star," which was equally satisfying, and then ended it with "Red Sun." After that, their title tracks weren't in deep house territory :(
*_===H-O-W-E-V-E-R===_*
I still love GWSN, and will continue listening to them. Also, GWSN means Gong Won So Nyeo, which means "Girls in the Park."
Other random stuff I like about GWSN:
1. their choreo reminds me of mechanical puzzles and stuff. This is true with their "deep house" trilogy title tracks, "Puzzle Moon," "Pinky Star," and "Red Sun." Those 3 are so cohesive and well-directed in terms of art direction and vibe, that's why I was drawn to them in their formative days.
2. their b-sides are immaculate. Like high-quality production. Much so that I sometimes prefer the b-sides over the title tracks. Their first 3 mini albums, "The Park In The Night" pt. 1, 2, and 3 are among the best kpop albums IMO. They remind me somehow of Loona and WJSN, and to some extent, IZ*ONE.
3. They always release EPs or mini albums, and never singles. That's why they have A LOT of songs already despite being in their debut years in 2018-19. Their "The Park In The Night pt. 1" has 6 songs. Part 2 has 6 songs. And Part 3 has 8 songs. EIGHT SONGS! *And* *they* *never* *called* *it* *"full album."* This is one of the most compelling reasons why I love GWSN so much, and the crew behind them, because they craft quality songs for them and not give them a freaking single song to promote. That's rare for a fairly small company to do for their groups. "The Keys" has 4 songs, and I think their recent EP has 6 songs, if I'm not mistaken. In total, they have 30 songs.
I feel the very same about the song. It's a bit underwhelming compared to their previous tracks. Like I can't specify what it is exactly but it's missing something. And also for their MVs itself I kinda miss their use of green screen. I found their use of it really pretty but I guess they're growing as a group. And I surely will continue to stan.
@@tafarixcx I aagree. But did you listen to the mini album? All of the b-sides are bops
@@triadriangle oh 100% ei ei o is my fave b-side
@@tafarixcx that one's so goood, the bouncy drop. I think mine's Starry Night.
