They used to have a shuttle from Trump to Wynn when I stayed back in 2009 so yeah that is what we did. Resorts World and Fontainebleau now gives it more offerings in that area.
i played poker with a guy a few years back who was telling me he was able to buy a condo at the Trump Hotel in vegas right after the GFC for about 1/4 of the list price right before the GFC. so there are definitely condos in that hotel.
You can’t know what the food and service are like without actually eating there. Things might’ve changed for better or worse since the Michelin review - how are you to know? The menu won’t tell you that. UA-camr Coolist reviewed the hotel and thoroughly reviewed the restaurant and bar, after sampling numerous dishes and speciality cocktails. That’s the way you review a restaurant - not merely by looking at a menu.
Kudos to you for reviewing a restaurant without bothering to sample any of its dishes. I wasn’t aware that was possible. Might as well leave the review to AI.
I’ve always wanted to stay there. I just may, next time I’m in Vegas for work and don’t need the temptation to go down to the casino. Great video. Thanks for doing the Trump Hotel!

Very real and refreshing. 3) You guys visit all the good places so my wife and I can schedule meals around your reviews. Thank you for the good work!
It was a hotel review and not meant to be anything more. It’s unfortunate that in a place like Las Vegas, the most controversial thing you can discuss is not illegal acts like prostitution and open drug use, or celebration of gambling addiction and high levels of homelessness and crime, but rather spending a single night in a hotel. Over the 4 years that we have made videos on UA-cam we have prided ourselves on doing different types of videos, not just repeating the same stuff over and over. We chose to make a video at a property others won’t to help people decide if a hotel was right for them
Good video. My wife and I have stayed at Trump Las Vegas several times. All the parking was valet and free (before my $5 tip). For the budget minded (us), you can walk from the Trump down to the Peppermill on the strip for your meals. The Trump staff are all very professional and courteous. My wife likes to swim laps in the pool under the watchful eye of two lifeguards early in the AM. I remember I couldn't get the in-room coffee maker to work and the housekeeper brought me a different model which worked fine. My wife and I do not like those heavy glass doors in the bathroom. You wouldn't want to have one catch your leg or hand. Take care.
Watched only because I love your videos! But if you ever have to say the other candidate’s name again, please pronounce it correctly. Coming from a place of positivity only. ❤
The pool area just looked boring to me and I kinda like having cocktail service. Nice views but lots of better places with nice views. I’d rather stay at Vdara.
Im a Trump Hotel Member ❤❤❤ almost a perfect 5 Star Hotel, all of his casinos and Hotels are Fabulous, before he became a politician, I stayed at Trump Plaza, Taj Mahal and Trump Towers. ❤
Great video Josh and Rachael but regardless of how luxurious Trump Towers looks it doesn't make the same kind of revenue as the hotels and resorts on the Vegas Strip. Especially since Trump's hotel has no casino
I doubt Trump actually owns this hotel. He makes a lot of money via branding and licensing. Doubt he is involved with any actual management of the place.
@@futurevision7692 Phil Ruffin and Trump are partners, I believe Ruffin owns the actual building. Hilton controls a vast majority of the rooms through their time share program.

@@davidleinoff8589 That sounds great. I looked back at our footage and we only had windows in our room - no doors unfortunately but a balcony would be amazing
Haven't stayed at this Trump Hotel, but, have stayed at other Trump Hotels. They are really nice hotels. Looks like a really nice hotel room. At the Trump Hotel is there a resort fee? It's fine if it doesn't have a casino. Casinos aren't far away. Don't really like bars. It is near the Fashion Show Mall. There are restaurants there. Not a fan of Las Vegas Blvd. This hotel is away from everything. Good in some ways bad in other ways. Am subscribed. Even hit the like button.
Such a tainted, garish sterile property. There's no casino (bankrupt) and bare amount of foods (choice) and boring (tired, old). However, the Hotel is located near the LVB (strip) Spearmint Rhino (boobs) and Planet 13 (weeds) and Fashion Show Mall (casino quest).
That's your opinion. Some people don't want to stay in a casino type hotel. You can walk to one if that is your cup of tea. I like the peace and quiet and not everyone goes for the casino atmosphere. This is an excellent option.
I appreciate you sharing your experience here. I stumbled out of the Fashion Show Mall and was dazzled by this gold obelisk. It is not somewhere I would stay, but I’ve been curious about it. Glad you got a great deal for the room, and that tub?! Noice.
@@JoshRachael it’s always been great. No casino to navigate through. No smoking. And yes, prices are excellent. It’s a shame ppl allow political views to taint something as basic as which hotel they’ll stay at.
No Gambling because the Nevada Gaming Commission is not stupid enough to give trump a casino. trump is denied every time they apply for a gambling license.. I would never stay at a sh*thole hotel like that.
So do you avoid MGM properties, Venetian/Palazzo, and Wynn/Encore as Kurt Kerkorian, Sheldon Adelson, and Steve Wynn all donated to the GOP and even Trump?
@@michaelkillins3318 I had to look this one up because I read you statement as facts at first but recall the recent MGM REIT agreement so looked it up to refresh my memory. Two of the 3 donors you mentioned have passed and after Steve Wynn's scandals he only holds a very small % of profits in Wynn today. Right left or middle people are going to have a reaction to anything with Trumps or Kamala's name on it. I respect everyones decision how to spend their hard earned money. When and where they want to spend it or NOT to spend it on certain brands because of their beliefs whether I agree with them or not.
Nice review! I am planning for a 3 day family trip (4ppl) to Las Vegas this Christmas. We don't do gambling and this hotel seems to be a good one with spacious rooms, but the food selection is rather limited comparing to MGM Grand/Park. Any suggestion?
Yea food selection was nothing exciting for us so we would recommend a short walk to Resorts World, Wynn or the mall next door for dining options. If you are asking for a different hotel similar but closer to dining check out Vdara
You covered the pros and cons of this property very well. I admit I cringed when Rachel was walking on that carpet shoeless: I wouldn’t do that at any hotel. 😂 I always bring house slippers that I can either throw out upon leaving or wash at home. I’m curious if you heard noise from the nearby train: you had a Strip view, so maybe not, but mountain facing rooms will definitely hear that noise. At least one of the locked doors held a washer and dryer, as the property is a condominium and hotel. The other door probably had electrical or a/c equipment. I don’t automatically rule out a property without a casino, but in this case the negatives far outweigh the positives. I don’t mind walking off property, but I have family members with mobility issues: Vdara is doable, this one is not. One basic restaurant is unacceptable for a supposed high end property. The main problem is this works better as a condominium than as a Las Vegas resort. When I visit Las Vegas, I want the resort experience: Wynn/Encore and Venetian/Palazzo offer nice rooms, lots of dining and shopping, enjoyable pool areas and casinos. But more important than all of that (sorry for the politics, I saved it for the end!): I cannot support financially in any way a convicted sexual abuser, a convicted fraudster, someone with government documents illegally taken and not returned when requested/required and - most importantly - someone who encouraged traitors to attack government buildings, resulting in the deaths of multiple police officers. I just can’t.

The lack of a casino and dining options makes the hotel a no for me. And the guests look like they aren't even in Vegas. Just people in a generic city. Room views are great though.
No gambling? Why stay there unless you are on a business trip and you don’t want to be in a casino and spend money ubering or cabbing everywhere. I’ll pass. Would rather stay at the Wynn or Bellagio or Cosmo.
For us this was basically an extra added day since we had a very hectic and busy trip. We stayed at Fountainebleau 2 nights, Wynn for 2 nights and then this night. So it was more for a relaxation unwind day, and worked well for that
A lot of people go to Vegas for conventions and their work won't pay for a casino resort, so places like that do a lot of business for those people. As far as non-casino hotels, also Vdara is pretty awesome.
This was our 5th day of a very peoply trip so the relaxing aspect worked for us but on a regular trip I would not want the location and lack of other things to do

Looks like a nice place to stay for non-gamblers! A hotel is not controversial it is the people who make it that way and there is no need to. It is a hotel that’s it. For me as a gambler, I would not stay. Your dinner at Wynn looked divine - I hope you will have a separate clip for that.
Please read about the innumerable lawsuits from hard working everyday Americans and small family businesses who had never been paid for their work (3500 and counting). A glass company in NJ, a carpet company, plumber, 48+ waiters and bartenders from coast to coast. And lawsuits directly from several of the law firms that’s represented the organization in these suits and others. I’m sharing this because people need to inform themselves. As it’s said, all that glitters is not gold.
Thank you
Trump Tower is beautiful!
It was pretty
What a great price with an amazing view! Could you have gotten multiple days at that price? It seems like you could make it a quiet, more spa focused getaway and then get food at Wynn!
It seemed like we could have. This was on a Tuesday night, it seems like Monday through Thursdays you can still get some good rates
They used to have a shuttle from Trump to Wynn when I stayed back in 2009 so yeah that is what we did. Resorts World and Fontainebleau now gives it more offerings in that area.
@@igloozoo3771 We didn't find the walk to be too bad
Trump has a free shuttle to and from Wynn and Caesar's.
It's not a bad walk to Wynn at all
i played poker with a guy a few years back who was telling me he was able to buy a condo at the Trump Hotel in vegas right after the GFC for about 1/4 of the list price right before the GFC. so there are definitely condos in that hotel.
true
You can’t know what the food and service are like without actually eating there. Things might’ve changed for better or worse since the Michelin review - how are you to know? The menu won’t tell you that.
UA-camr Coolist reviewed the hotel and thoroughly reviewed the restaurant and bar, after sampling numerous dishes and speciality cocktails. That’s the way you review a restaurant - not merely by looking at a menu.
If the menu doesn't look appealing I am not going to waste my money on it, sorry not sorry.
Kudos to you for reviewing a restaurant without bothering to sample any of its dishes. I wasn’t aware that was possible. Might as well leave the review to AI.
@@JamesIsHereRightNow We reviewed a hotel, you got hung up on us choosing to not eat at the restaurant.
I very much enjoyed your review. Just offering one suggestion for next time.

I’ve always wanted to stay there. I just may, next time I’m in Vegas for work and don’t need the temptation to go down to the casino. Great video. Thanks for doing the Trump Hotel!
Have fun!

1) We (my wife and I) love your food reviews. Very honest and professional.
2) I can tell you both love each other very much. I also can tell you both respect each other very much. Very real and refreshing.
3) You guys visit all the good places so my wife and I can schedule meals around your reviews.

Awesome! Thank you!
Zero percent chance I would even walk on the property no matter how nice it is. Didnt watch the video just leaving a comment guys lol

@@audreybrown1257 right? TDS strong with some of these people….
I doubt Trump owns this hotel. The owners probably paid him to use his name. Trump has made most of his money via branding and licensing.
We chose to make a video at a property others won’t to help people decide if a hotel was right for them
Fair review. Thank you. It’s for an older crowd I think, which I’m cool with. It’s very calm, my style.
Thanks for watching!
Take care.
Thanks for the tips
Watched only because I love your videos! But if you ever have to say the other candidate’s name again, please pronounce it correctly. Coming from a place of positivity only. ❤
Thank you. Pretty sure we won’t say the first or last name of either candidate for a year after this. No harm meant
The pool area just looked boring to me and I kinda like having cocktail service. Nice views but lots of better places with nice views. I’d rather stay at Vdara.
Fair enough!

Good to know, we haven’t stayed thete

This hotel looks like the perfect balance between the excitement of the Vegas Strip and a peaceful escape! Love that it’s non-smoking and non-gaming, really gives it a unique vibe!
Thank you
Wow, the best views all around 🎉
It was for us
Stayed last May at the Trump. I enjoyed my stay. You didn’t show the balcony. Pool area is great and chill.
Staying again next June.
Don’t let politics stop you from staying at Trump it’s lovely and I’m a democrat.
Thank you. Where’s the balcony? Our room didn’t have one
The balcony is next to the living area. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a strip view looking at the Sphere.
Love following you both, great informative videos. Thank you.
@@davidleinoff8589 I have stayed here 6 times in the last 3 years, I have never heard of a balcony. Now I need to look next trip.
Balcony was great and spacious. Wonderful to experience. Great view of the strip.
There was a resort fee. I think around $40
I don’t believe he owns the hotel or the winery. He leases naming rights to the owners.
He is partner with Phil Ruffin who owns TI and Circus Circus…
may be correct we did not research either
Such a tainted, garish sterile property. There's no casino (bankrupt) and bare amount of foods (choice) and boring (tired, old). However, the Hotel is located near the LVB (strip) Spearmint Rhino (boobs) and Planet 13 (weeds) and Fashion Show Mall (casino quest).
That's your opinion. Some people don't want to stay in a casino type hotel. You can walk to one if that is your cup of tea. I like the peace and quiet and not everyone goes for the casino atmosphere. This is an excellent option.
We understand it is not for everyone
I appreciate you sharing your experience here. I stumbled out of the Fashion Show Mall and was dazzled by this gold obelisk.
It is not somewhere I would stay, but I’ve been curious about it. Glad you got a great deal for the room, and that tub?! Noice.
Thanks for sharing!
Best hotel in Vegas. Stayed there 5 times, and will be there again in December
We had no problems and the price was right
@@JoshRachael it’s always been great. No casino to navigate through. No smoking. And yes, prices are excellent. It’s a shame ppl allow political views to taint something as basic as which hotel they’ll stay at.

The reason there is no casino is because he committed so many felony crimes and fraud crimes. He can’t get a gaming license
Not sure that’s true considering the timeline of it existing and the felonies
Nice Video. Resort Fee is $39/Night?
Yes I believe so. Thank you
No Gambling because the Nevada Gaming Commission is not stupid enough to give trump a casino. trump is denied every time they apply for a gambling license.. I would never stay at a sh*thole hotel like that.

So do you avoid MGM properties, Venetian/Palazzo, and Wynn/Encore as Kurt Kerkorian, Sheldon Adelson, and Steve Wynn all donated to the GOP and even Trump?
@@michaelkillins3318 doubt they will answer that one, it would force them to admit either they are uneducated or they are a hypocrite.
Thanks for sharing. I was curious. 😊
You’re welcome 😊
Just saw the word Trump so can’t watch this
Ok
Nice review! I am planning for a 3 day family trip (4ppl) to Las Vegas this Christmas. We don't do gambling and this hotel seems to be a good one with spacious rooms, but the food selection is rather limited comparing to MGM Grand/Park. Any suggestion?
Yea food selection was nothing exciting for us so we would recommend a short walk to Resorts World, Wynn or the mall next door for dining options.
If you are asking for a different hotel similar but closer to dining check out Vdara
@JoshRachael Appreciate your help, thanks!
😂

Thank you Ann - we appreciate your response and understand your sentiment about the namesake. It is not why we stayed there nor do we share any political stances in our video one way or the other. It is unfortunate that comments have gone down that path
@@JoshRachael I felt bad, when leaving my comment, about bringing up politics at all: the whole point of your channel is to explore a variety of experiences, and that is admirable. No one should limit your choices, or complain about what you choose to explore.
I’m not mad or disappointed you stayed there, and I wish other commenters didn’t take your review as a personal affront. I can ignore my political opinions while discussing the pros and cons of a Trump-affiliated property, but at the very end had to add why I would never stay at one.

@@annhenriques3520 Thank you Ann, and we always appreciate your comments, and it is why I responded personally to yours and not others that we have not seen prior to this video.
The lack of a casino and dining options makes the hotel a no for me. And the guests look like they aren't even in Vegas. Just people in a generic city. Room views are great though.
You nailed it. The room was nice and relaxing for our 5th night after some long late nights but it’s not one we would return to
No gambling?
Thanks for the info
I just looked it up on Expedia and rooms were in the $500! Where did you make the reservations?
That’s awesome. We booked directly
We stayed once, Its was a nice hotel at a good price. BORING and TOO far away from everying but strip joints and weed shops.
