It sounded like the truck was missing a lower gear. Engine was great, driving skill was great, everyone around the truck was awesome. If he had a "granny" gear, he could have easily powered around that corner.

Should consider technical specifications and compare it with internationally known brands like Mercedez Benz,Scannia,Man and Volvo.We all Indians never go just for power,we consider what it returns too.We are satisfied with this manufacture and their products.Mercedez Benz,Scannia,Man and Volvo having 350bhp to 550bhp to handle 15 tons to 50 tons. Now think which one is better and giving more returns... :)
Trucks in India = underpowered engines, basic transmission (no crawling gears), overloaded (leaf spring always bends in opposite direction due to over load), overworked drivers, bad/ no roads. I am from India (North east India), and get to see these trucks struggling every time.
Buddy..... I never said these trucks are the best in the world.. but considering indian economy and Indian PCI i think these trucks are solving the purpose. Mahindra and Tatas have come up with their new models with Hydraulics. New models are smoother and better.. LTPT2018 isnt a good model but its old. I am not en engineer either but I still believe we have a huge gap to cover up if we have to compete these machines with Merc or Volvo or Hyundai for that matter. My apologies for being rude.

incase you are wondering what the rock is for.... the handbrake doesnt work on the truck. or doesnt exist.
The stone block isn't because hand brake doesn't work. But Hand brake might cause slip on that wet mud. that's what I think, maybe it's wrong.
these trucks never have hand brakes :) they worn out and dont bother fixing them.
