Classic Mini Restoration
In This Episode Sadly The Police Were Called!!
How ever we fit the classic minis aftermarted Super bright LED Head Lights and the after market Fletcher 3 Inch side exit exhaust.

And Here you will be able to follow my classic mini restoration from start to finish! It is an Austin Mini Mayfair 998cc registered in 1986. I bought the car with 2 months MOT and it was running although the slave cylinder had gone. My plans for the car are to restore it to my standards just like my Orange one if not even better... if thats possible. More videos on the way of the classic mini so be sure to subscribe and keep up to date.

Thumbs up for a great video and giving your neighbors the two finger salute....but just do not like those headlamps. Just seems silly, but then again your attention to detail is spot on for everything you are doing.

I have those headlights on my Mini for almost a year now, still looking good and working great. And passed the mot in the Netherlands with the headlights on the car.
Nice friendly neighbor....remeber a friend down the road when I was a kid running his midget ( speedway ) up and down the road. 300bhp cosworth no mufflers....

I`ve watched 3 or 4 vids today about fitting these lights and everyone else has said you don`t need that bit of wire with the box in the middle. What`s your take on this?

I had a neighbour come round when I was struggling to start my mini and complain about my mini making his tv flicker. Something to do with the coil apparently. He was telling me that there should be something in the loom and was looking and telling me it’s a legal requirement. I rang mini spares and asked them what it was and they said he’s probably just got a shit tele and should stop moaning. 😂

What a lovely neighbour lol!... our MG's got a straight through exhaust with a huge hole before the rear muffler, surprised our neighbours haven't complained yet!!! I watched Kev's parody myself, LMFAO! Gonna have to let us hear that exhaust mate, Cheers.
Sit on the edge of your driveway and rev shit out of it there's nothing the feds can do if you are not on the public highway and it's before 11 at night,. A copper told me I was perfectly legal to do that after I had a similar complaint

WTF, is up with your neighbor??...did they catch you pissing in their flower beds?...lol. love how the Mini is shaping up. Looking at yours makes me want to get mine back on the road. Need to clean out the tank and seal it, change out the lines and new fuel pump. The e-85 gas in California, is crap for these old cars, and the rubber parts. They need to keep the corn out of the gas and put it back in the moonshine 🙄

That was a damn fine blaw there bud but i puckered my exhaust rather tight when you were applying that lube to the rim with the old "bend over and 'SNAP!!'" gloves on. Love old Val Toonagan hangin out suckin back a fruity cocktail too but ye broke the continuity by putting yer lovely moms on the screen so now she's no longer just the voice, ha ha no worries, crackalackin episode just intime for me getting back from a week away (dodged a tornado by about 5miles tho) cheers for now, TOOT TOOT!!

Is it easy to convert my 2 gauge that's got speed and then separate for fuel and temp to the 3 gauge to get rev gague aswell

Hi josh ebay is cheapest for these exhausts, if i include the full stainless manifold and exhaust it adds up to £340 but worth every penny in my opinion haha

Please don't risk driving your Mini on the public road again until it is fully legal. The police can seize your car if it is uninsured and you will have to pay the cost of the recovery along with daily impound charges. You will also have to insure the mini and provide proof, before they will release it to you. On top of that, you'll also be dealt with for driving without insurance, along with any other offences they find, such as no MOT etc. You'd end up with a fine and points on your license. It's not worth it, particularly when you could be spending that money on more Mini bits. Sorry for the negativity, but I'd hate for any of this to happen to you. On a plus note, you must be one hell of a smooth talker to talk the cops out of doing the above to you! All the best, Simon.
