That is some good times. I did that down Chincoteague Va one year with family and we had a blast steaming crabs/mussels/ clams/shrimp and knocking back some beers. Each family member went out for a different harvests then we all got together. Great time

That is a killer flounder rig.
Tip: When fishing a rig like that with gulp, most people put the white piece of gulp on the bottom hook (not on the teaser hook). Idk why but it always seems to work better.

Hey 1rod It always brightens my day to see you post another spectacular video. By the way when you use fish bites, cut the into smaller pieces cause they were too long and use a spinning combo for that rig. Baitcasters are better for lures and jigging in saltwater also try out a sabiki rig it will catch bait instantly

There's a video by Hey Skipper that shows how to quicky get all the meat out of blue crab. Claws come off. A scissors snips off the legs. Carapace comes off. Gills removed. A knife slices through the lower half of the shell horizontally, exposing all the meat. Claws are tapped with the back of the knife top and bottom shattering the shell, and the meat is pulled out. It's quick, clean and gets 100% of the meat picked out from all areas.

The 2nd fish you caught was a Pinfish. Great bait fish. Down here in Florida we call them Snook candy. I don’t suggest eating them.

Hi 1rod! That was a really nice crownose ray! The “fish finder rig” is actually more like a pompano rig. By the way, I caught a 39 inch wing width crownose ray on a 1000 spinning reel with 20 pound braid once.

14:50 looks like a pinfish. super common, atleast in fl. i kinda just assumed they were common everywhere. best thing for those at that size is cut bait, i guess ive never tried to eat them though. but small ones freelined are probably one of the best baits you can get.

we always use steel leads personally with the bluefish and other species that with destroy your line. and that looks like a crappie

Technically Cow Nose Rays are not stingrays. They belong to their own family of rays. But they do have venom barbs. I believe they are in the same family like Spotted Eagle Rays.

Man i remember being at the pier 1am and i was talking to a local fisherman, from there a random guy comes out of no where asking if we had a charger😂 funny enough the fisherman's speaker could charge your phone😂 from there he placed his phone down to look at the ocean, out of no where i see this guy pounce like crazy and hes like "bro your rod almost went over!" That day it was really high tide so i thought it was the waves since i was fishing near the shore, my fishing rod is a 6ft rod, it had 10lb line and idk fucking how i was able to pull a batray of the size yall caught, obviously it reached the pier and it my line broke lol but what a fight they put so awesome hearing the reel roar like crazy on late night fishing
