    Nice work, A good example of how how persistence pays off. Also having the right tool for the job, never heard of a seat post puller tool before, I'm guessing a DIY. Luckily I have not had to deal with stuck seatpost BB or headset before. Probably living in SoCal has a lot to do with it

      Did you try heating the BB? Expansion/contraction and a cheater bar have always worked for me.

    Are bottom brackets for those still easy to find. Never heard of a Mavic bb.

      Ya, there seems to always be a few available on ebay etc. They take sealed bearings and are pretty rebuild able as long as the axle and the shell stay in good condition.
