I applied for a job in sports, had an interview, got a callback. They don't want to hire me for the job I applied for, but would love to have me as Director of Business Development. Completely different position, completely different day to day, but aligns with my skills, knowledge, and sociability way better than what I originally was aiming for. Gotta keep that POE wide.
