I always wondering what kind a speaker and siren amplifier type that london police use.. i know that’s Whelen.. but I don’t know what type that they use.. cause it’s sounds so cool on high pitch
The standard siren and amplifier set is Whelen Alpha series. They are all wired into the vehicle horn circuit to operate the recognisable tones handsfree. Some of the specialised Police resources are given bullhorn but most standard response cars don't. Pretty much all Fire appliances have it.
@@omardude39 that’s not true at all. The RSG MCS-32 is the most widely used siren in the UK, owing to its cheap and compact setup - being an all in one siren amplifier and lightning controller. By default 3, with the option for 4, siren tones are enabled with bullhorn. Almost all emergency vehicles have bullhorns. Every single response car in the Met does, and only police forces in the counties using their legacy sirens (such as Essex, which is now phasing out the Stirling control unit) do not have bullhorn functionality. The only thing you’re correct on is that in most circumstances the horn is used to control the siren tones.
Those bullhorns on the double response from LFB @ 1:48 were all for you, nice to see the professionals appreciate the enthusiasts!
A truly spectacular production.
