i Absolutly love this song, i discovered built to spill a couple days ago and its all ive been listening to them non stop. Would be nice if you dropped a tutorial. Keep rockin on man 🤘
This is gold man, thanks for covering this. If you could add your pedals/amp settings for every part of the songs you cover it would be a massive help.
Thanks, I’m not really sure as I don’t really use tabs unless it’s the only thing available. I usually just learn by watching the live videos on UA-cam
Awesome! Not enough people doing guitar lesson/play along for built to spill. One of my top 3 bands of all time. I’m a Spazz for them. Great work on these vids and I appreciate it cuz it helps me figure out the chords and fingerings. Any chance you can do “Tomorrow” from no enemy? Also if you can explain some of the chord progressions and fingerings for the main verse/chorus parts. I’m looking at it backwards cuz I’m right hand player LOL.
Thanks man, I’m glad people are enjoying / finding the videos useful. I get what you mean about there not being enough bts content on UA-cam, and for what content there is, it often times doesn’t seem to be that close to what Doug is actually playing in the live videos. I’ve done some other songs that I would like to record again for UA-cam (Conventional Wisdom, Else, Life’s a Dream, Reasons, The plan, Living Zoo) but I would definitely like to do Tomorrow eventually.
@@billtospill very cool, I’m gonna subscribe and keep watching. Hoping you could put a quick graphic of the chord fingerings up at some point in the video… so we can really learn the songs from your videos too. Thanks again and keep up the great content!!!
Good job. Sounds good. The day this song was released I ran out to my garage to figure this one out. I play both the g and b strings open during the 2nd part and voice the chords a little differently but your way sounds really good.
@@billtospillseems like you are leaving your index finger on the 3rd fret of the b and the alternating between open g and then 3rd and 4th frets. When I play it I i play the b string open when the g is open. Just got the vinyl and it sounds like your way is correct.
@@nocaster4747 ah yeah I get what you’re saying now. Yeah to me it sounds like that 3rd fret b string is constantly droning on during the intro. There are a couple of live performances on UA-cam and you can get a decent but not perfect view of what he’s playing.
@@billtospill After listening to the vinyl recording I am 99% sure your way is right. I can hear the other strings ringing and that D note (b string) is consistent through that part.
Excellent!
Super smooth
Fanstastic song and great guitar playing. Congrats! I wish I could play like you.

Thanks man. Time stamp for the part you speak of?
@@billtospill late reply, sorry. 2nd part of the intro 0:10.
